The food was good and the service was friendly. Prices are a bit high. I would say each meal could be $15 to $30 cheaper, and that would make more sense for what you get. That said, I would come back.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. It was our first time visiting and staff and management were so personable and the food was delicious. Shoutout to Matt and Marta!

This is truly a hidden gem. They’re open for a few hours at lunch. Definitely worth going. The staff is absolutely great. My food came out. Timely. Cooked perfectly. The peppers were also very good. Came out hot. The bartender was definitely on top of things. making sure I was taken care of. It’s suggestions on the food. Was all-around, incredibly helpful. I sat at the bar. Not at a table. It’s very quiet at lunch. Not overly crowded. Although it should be because it is amazing. But if you want somewhere to go, it’s not full of live music and people. This is the place.Parking: There seems to be plenty of parking. Just don’t blink. You might miss it.

What a gem. The drink menu did not have a lot of options but what was offered was done well. We ended up loving our dishes, the short ribs were soft and flavorful. The brussel sprouts however, stole the show. I was not expecting to be obsessed with a side dish from a steakhouse but I am. My partner and I usually don't agree on liking the same steakhouse but hideaway is one we both would frequent again.

Nice ambiance and friendly service, but the food is mediocre at best, especially considering the very high price. Steak was a bit dry, Brussel sprouts were overly sweet and buttered, and crab legs were so salty I gave up trying to eat them after eating a quarter of my portion. Dessert was good, but for a $350 meal which included a single glass of wine, price was exhorbitant and not nearly as good as what you can prepare at home even if you are a middling cook.

First visit and our last. Here’s why. Never been before and didn’t know what to expect. I was asked for my first and last name upon arrival. Not sure why. I didn’t have a reservation. I was told by the hostess it was to put us into the system for rewards. Ok.Well I don’t appreciate that I was forced to give myPhone number. That should’ve been my first red flag. I’ll say that the ambience is nice but here’s the issue we had. 1. Didn’t see that sides were an ala carte items. So I paid 12.95 for asparagus that was hard as a rock. And 12.95 for a baked potato with no flavor. My steak I requested medium. It was way more towards the medium rare. Not even hot when I got it. My wife had the filet mignon. She has filet mignons all the time since she gets to go to work dinners often. She said hers was one of the worst she’s ever had. The drinks we had were good but my steak was not. Even with A1 there was very little flavor. After tax and tip 256$ f ing dollars. Called the manager today and he was explaining the cook temps to me. I know what the cook temps are I eat steak all the time. I was more so annoyed that I felt baited into ordering sides when I said I would like a potato and asparagus I wish he would have told me that the charges are separate. I’ve eaten at another high end steak house (the keg) and they’ve always included their sides so I was shocked. Also our server and person filling the waters kept reaching over us. I would put the glass to the side closest to him and he would fill it and then put it on the opposite side of the table. I felt that my server was way too friendly with my wife. Even to the point where she said afterwards that his tone seemed flirtatious. Etc. Maybe it’s just me but I was not happy with it. I wasn’t even looking for a refund I just wanted what I paid for my sides back 25$ ish dollars. We will not be back.

My boy friend and I came here to celebrate me getting into grad school. I really thought it was going to be good when I saw wagyu on the menu! This was honestly the worst steak I have had and the food was flavorless. My boy friend and ai both agreed that the steak was not actually wagyu. The restaurant was beautiful and the service was decent. I wouldn’t spend another near $300 dollars here again though.

It was a pleasure dining at The Hideaway. They provided a small, extra treat for my wife and I since we were celebrating our 50th Anniversary. The service was impeccable, the food prepared just as we asked for and the atmosphere was very inviting. Thank you so much for a very pleasant evening

I really feel bad rating this place so low because it seems like a lot of people really like it. I didn't even see the huge price tag when I looked at it on maps and directions. I chose this place because 1 it was close by 5 mins. 2. Somewhere we haven't been before and 3. Had steaks. I feel like I wasted a ton of money here. Even my wife was mad that I spent what I did. Her filet mignon was 67$ and my New York steak was 65$. It had a lot of fat on it and although I'm pretty sure I said medium well it came out on the receipt as medium but was more towards the medium rare side. I asked for A1 sauce because my steak was bland. I must've gone through 3 waters to get it down because it was hard to eat with no flavor. My wife only took a few bites of her filet mignon. She goes to work rep dinners all the time and filet mignon is an item that is offered in these dinners. She said this one was not even in the top running list. Ambience was nice. Food was out fast but our server took about 15+ minutes after we looked at menus before he even came back. I do feel like he was a bit too friendly with my wife but maybe that's just me. I know they work off tips. 20% before taxes ( since you do not tip on the tax) equaled out to be 39$ and I tipped 40. If you can do simple math then you know how expensive this place was. Drinks were good but steak and filet mignon not worth the price point. Don't even know what sauce was on the asparagus but after one bite I didn't go back for seconds.

Walked into our reservation about 10 mins early for dinner. We usually go into Denver for a nice steak dinner but decided to give The Hideaway a try with it being so much closer to home. We waited for a host or anyone to come up front and acknowledge us (this took 10-12 minutes). The only workers we saw in the restaurant were a couple of bartenders who took 10 minutes to even acknowledge that we were waiting to be greeted/sat even though it was very obvious we were waiting, she told us she would be up soon...the restaurant was almost empty at this time with the exception of a couple people sitting at the bar. Our waitress was great and very attentive. We started off with a Caesar salad which was definitely below average for a restaurant like this and a French onion soup which was bland. We received an order of bread, it was good so we were then brought more. Unfortunately they wrap their bread in napkins and there was a long hair entangled in the napkin and bread. For our main course we ordered a Filet Mignon and the Cowboy ribeye. Both were just ok, definitely not worth the price this restaurant offers them at. When paying 75-100 for just a steak my expectations are pretty high. I ordered my filet medium, it was definitely more medium rare, it was a bit burnt on the outside which stuck with me throughout each bit, I ate about 1/2 of it. Cowboy Ribeye was $100 and came out just fine, nothing special and nothing even close to $100 worth. We ordered a few sides to share as well, this being our first time here we wanted to try a few different items. Twice baked potato was excellent, buttered broccolini was cold and undercooked, and rice and mushrooms were good. We ended the meal with a slice of cheesecake which was perfect texture and was the highlight of the entire meal. Unfortunately this was a fail for us and we would not recommend or return to this restaurant.

Price is different on OpenTable then what is on the menu so make sure to check price because this is not a cheap place at all. It is amazing and worth the money but be prepared for the cost
