Booked a reservation here. Got all the reminders. Confirmed the reservation. Got there. The restaurant was permanently closed!!! Checked the address with Open Table and with the Joe's Crab Shack website. It was accurate. No announcement that it was closed.

I'll start by saying that Joe's has always been one of our favorite places to go for a special family dinner. I remember when it was a packed dining room, bustling with energy and fun, servers dancing to B-52's "Love Shack" amid dining service. They never seemed to really come back after the pandemic. Walk-in on a Friday night, no wait. Mostly empty dining room. Food quality started diminishing. I will say, prices were average. The blackened salmon was running about $20 a plate. Went in two days before they announced the closing of Joe's in Westminster. (I'm assuming this was not public knowledge.) The once $19.99 Blackened Salmon dinner had jumped to $27. Caesar salad, $15? Cup of lobster bisque, $8? Maybe in the prime, but now that just hurt. The vibe was just depressing. The food reflected the vibe. I hope Joe's corporate reads this; y'all knew you were closing. Why raise the prices on your customers and extra $7-8? Did that really help? Did someone from corporate get a pat on the back? You should have just offered the last few tables half off as a gesture of thanks for returning, would have been the right thing to do. A very disappointing way to end a legacy.

I hate to post a bad review and I've been mulling over whether to post this for several months. This place on this night deserves it. The only thing good was the friendliness of the front end staff. The decor would get good marks if not for the messiness. All the tables were dirty and the floor was literally littered. The food tasted like the cooks don't even taste what they're cooking. I had previously had good experiences at all of these restaurants in the Denver area and I was excited to revisit this one. However, this experience might possibly make me avoid all of them everywhere for life. I know that this business will fight to have this post removed asap but I hope Yelp leaves it up for a few days. Restaurants should feel some pain when they perform this bad otherwise change will never occur.

Where do i begin. The food is insanely over priced, the quality is terrible. They charge $12 dollars for a kids mac and cheese and a prepackaged fruit cup and it's a box of craft macaroni. I order one cluster of queen crab legs and they came out ice cold. There were literally 2 people on staff and we waited 15+ minutes to get anything we needed and to check out and leave. The bathrooms were gross with paper towels literally stacked 4ft above the trash can. This place is so run down i can't believe they are still in business. It's a shame i used to like coming here when i was younger but I'm never bringing my kid and my family here again.

How did I not come to Yelp for advice before going to this Shack???I won't even get into everything wrong with this place. I might be here all night!Food was terrible, service was even worse and the place was empty on a Saturday night around 730!Arrived and most the staff was out back smoking, but I was meeting family that came into town and knew they were starving so I had to go in...Do not make the same mistake I did!!!I will never go to another Crab Shack because of this one! Oh yeah the deck walking up to the entrance is falling apart... crazy sad how bad this location looks!

A1 service!! That's all this place had going for it. The fish and chips were dry and taseless with too much crispy batter that nobody needs to fill up on. So my thoughts are: if your fish doesn't taste good, you should probably offer an AMAZING tarter sauce to cover up for the tasteless fish. Not here. It was mayo. Greasy and flavorless, as well. The crab was great, but anyone can steam crab.... so, I wasn't impressed with the food.

Wow, when you walk in the door and it's a ghost town inside, we sat ourselves after about ten minutes. Maybe a team or shift meeting and nope. The empty parking lot with two cars should have been a sign. Finally two employees came from the back, more customers arrived and they we seated and then more and more and we got the ignore from them. They must be going out soon? We left and went to Salt Grass.

I don’t get to go to joes very often but when I get to it’s always a great experience. But tonight was especially great. The entire flow from being greeted, to our server Amber who was phenomenal!! And let me tell you I am hardly ever impressed by a waitress. Her attitude was exceptional. She checked on us but also left us alone. She is the PERFECT waitress! Thank you so much for obviously caring about and loving your position. Otherwise your service wouldn’t speak for itself the way it did. Many many thanks for the perfect service.

Definitely improved themselves from the days of old. Last few visits have been very consistent: perfectly cooked crab, shrimp, lobster, etc, great service, classic interior. Definitely the most reasonable place if you're wanting crab legs or similar.Only knock was substituting coleslaw on a dish for corn. Once it was a minor cost bump to do the substitution (like +$1 or something, an upgrade charge), but most recently they charged us full price for it as though it was a full extra side ($20 in corn across the table when normally it would be <$5).Parking: Large lot with more large lots close by, but it's never full.Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple large, gently sloped ramps inside and out, properly cut curbs, multiple van spots.

Waiter was great. No wait at 6pm on a Friday. We should have known better. Ordered some hush puppies and they came out ice cold in the center, literally ice. Spent over $200 on mediocre sea food. Son requested Joe's and we live in fortcollins. Drove over an hour for bad food. Next time we will just go to red lobster.

First time at Joe’s Crab Shack. I’m not the biggest fan of seafood, but came here with a buddy on a whim. Our server, Dionna, was superbly kind, attentive, and had such a warm and wonderful table-side manner. She made sure we were well taken care of and checked on us frequently during our visit. The Alfredo Pasta was yummy. I’ll certainly be back, thanks Dionna & J’CS!
