“I had the very spicy brat. Really tasted the heat on that! I asked the cashier if the soda was homemade, and she answered yes. Ordered the Lemon Lime, and I could have sworn it was Sprite. ^o^ I was surprised I didn't mind the saurkraut on the brat. The decor included an old rotating thingie that I've seen for placing orders and wheeling to the front. Theirs was decorated with various steins.“
“It's a mountain town bar/my hometown mountain town bar. Don't go in there with over the moon expectations.Do go in there knowing that you will have authentic mind stimulating conversations, good simple drinks, great music from the local town musicians (On Wednesdays), and just that small mountain town bar feel. However you carry yourself is how you will be treated.“
“Huge YES to everything about this place. First time trying it with a friend yesterday after a snowy hike. Can’t wait to come back with my family. I heard the bloody mary’s were the best around & holy cow they did not disappoint!! But even better than that was the AMAZING service. I’ve never seen such a cheerful, happy & kind staff. It was like going to visit friends who hadn’t seen you in a long time & they were so excited to have you there! ? The food was absolutely delicious too!“
“Palmer Lake staple with the best house wing sauce ever!Typical Irish style bar with bar food menu, just done right. Mondays are prime rib night (often sells out!) and they offer great seasonal or short term meals (check their Facebook). I bring all my out of town friends and family here for at least one meal and they all still talk about coming here. The fried veggie platter and crack fries also deserve a shout out!“
“Wife and I stopped in after spending the afternoon in Cripple Creek, we walked in and they told us to sit wherever we like. We were quickly greeted and got some drink orders in. The drinks were amazing and the food was fast and so delicious. The waiter checked on us very frequently and made sure we were taken care of and that everything was good. Highly recommend!!“
