it's the most delicious coffee in town by far. homemade goods, exceptional merchandise. the owners at Dom's support local businesses and artists. thoughtful decorations on the inside attract both families and students, alike. a model of success.

I am not sure how this place has won awards for their coffee. I got a seasonal coconut cold brew today. There is zero coconut flavor and the cold brew is awful. Probably the worst coffee i've had in a long time. Yuck! I won't return here.

Simply the BEST coffee shop in the entire area. European atmosphere, delicious coffee, great ice cream, wonderful people. Like other reviewers mentioned, parking can be a bit of an issue sometimes, but it’s not really that bad - it’s so worth the wait. My go-to place. I love them.

Really weird vibes. Staff are not welcoming by any means. I walked out feeling awkward because everyone is so weird (weird for being cold and rude).

This has got to be the best experience overall in any cafe I have been to in my life...literally. My first impression on walking inside was to want to look at everything. There were people at every table, atmosphere was clean, inviting, interesting. Customer service was great. Kevin and Oleh attended the bar area. My friend and I both ordered Pistachio lattes. I requested oatmilk for mine. We each enjoyed a bakery item. 100% recommend this shop to anyone. Energy radiates out of this place. The same owners have a creamery, sell cheeses, have lunch options, and maybe more that perhaps I missed. This was my first visit and to say I was impressed is an understatement. Keep being authentic Doms and staff!

Always good coffee. Lots of good snack options and pastries. A nice place to chill with friends or get some work done. Lots of seating options. The staff is amazing. They also offer sandwiches. I also highly recommend getting some cheese from their cheese

The ambiance is so relaxing and comforting like cotton cloud. I love their matcha tea with lavender extract that adds relaxing aroma and sweet fragrance. Don't forget to explore the cheese section with amazing selections that I never seen before. If you get to talk to the cheese monger, you may hear very interesting background stories on the cheese you may be interested in trying. Always a calm solace to get a drink and an adventure to get some cheese!

The place is barely OK. $11 for a sandwich that had 2 pieces of turkey on the full sandwich. Plus there were flies buzzing around and landing on the pastries that are out. That was a hard pass for me. Staff, not the most personable.

I really like the coffee offerings here and ambiance. It can be quite the line and bustling at times. Regardless, it's refreshing to see local business thriving in the area.

I am a digital nomad and coffee lover. First off - I love Dom’s Coffee. Excellent coffee choices and a nice breakfast and lunch menu. I recently tried the avocado toast with salmon and the spinach croissant and both were very tasty. Admittedly I’d been a Starbucks (Avon) regular the last 8 or so years (5 visits per week minimum) out of convenience but Dom’s in Avon has better coffee, food, atmosphere, everything…. plus they’re a family owned small business! My only regret is not discovering Dom’s sooner.Parking: Fairly large lot in back.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented environment for kids. It’s common to see toddlers and even kids in car seats. It’s a bit tight in the back rooms for strollers but there is a large communal table, chairs and couch in the main lobby area.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to entrance with handicapped parking

I've probably tried 50 or so coffee shops in the state so far and I would say Dom's has the best coffee in Connecticut. They use J. Rene coffee, which is a roaster in West Hartford, and the espresso is so smooth. But the beans themselves are only half of what makes Dom's so great. The baristas are very skilled, the milk is always steamed perfectly and they have one barista who literally made me a latte art swan, which blew my mind because that's extremely difficult to do. The food coming out of kitchen is also awesome. If I had one gripe, it's that the indoor space is very limited, certain times during the day it is difficult to find a seat. During the warmer months it's easier because they have a tent outside with more seating.
