My partner and I stopped by on a whim as we are new to the Avon area. We were exploring our options of coffee shops and decided to give The Coffee Trade a try. I actually don't think we need to explore any further because this is truly a special place. The aroma you smell when immediately walking in, is truly heavenly. I've been a customer here for about 30 years, first splurging for fresh-roasted whole beans because the store sold Swiss water decaf, which is safer than chemically decaffeinated coffee. Whether buying regular or decaf beans, the coffee is delicious. This is not just what I drink, but it's my go-to place when I want to give coffee as a gift. The service is friendly and efficient. And the antiques and other items make great gifts. The back tables offer a cozy, quiet meeting spot.
