This place is some of the best food I’ve ever had. The drumsticks are always my favorite no matter what flavor. I completely recommend coming here whether you’re vegan or not. It’s the only meat substitute that I’ve had that really tastes amazing. You don’t even think you’re eating “vegan”. The only thing is it’s a little expensive but totally worth it. The juices are also incredible.

My husband and I visited Jr. Cuisine today, for lunch. We placed 2 orders after we asked the man behind the counter if he can make 2 shakes for us, we were told he didn’t have time to make them and had other things he needed to do. We were disappointed with the customer service we received especially this was our first time visiting Jr. Meatless Cuisine. After he made our boxes of food he asked if we needed a bag and utensils for our orders? The food was good, but we received poor service when we were denied 2 shakes because he had other things to do. We were the only customers there . He turned away business because he had others things to do unacceptable.

Jrs Meatless Cuisine is one of a few all vegetarian places that have popped up in Bridgeport, and this one seems to have a mostly Asian menu. Come one day and it changes. This is only a place for to go orders. I had the Korean BBQ Tofu at lunch. It's $8 for a pretty big portion. This has lots of tofu with brown rice, collard greens, onions, peppers, and spinach. Get a lot more choices. There's lots of changing choices daily. A blackboard on the wall has all of that day's choices. There's good stuff like vegan drumsticks, macaroni and cheese, and more. All vegan stuff so there's no need to ask. This seems like a blend of Asian and soul food which kind of makes sense because of its location. A lot of good stuff to choose from. It's all vegan and doesn't taste like it. This is a place that has a counter to order at and there's only takeout.

This is hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever had. I don’t know how he does it, but the chef recreated a drum stick in 2 flavors that just blew my mind. Everything I got was absolutely incredible - the sweet chili Thai drumsticks, a tofu dish I can’t remember the name of (it was incredible), sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. Only $11 and he is so generous with his portions! My friend purchased an açaí smoothie it was so delicious. His smoothie flavors all sound amazing so definitely ask about them and his juices! My friend isn’t vegan but couldn’t stop eating her food. We were both so shocked at how incredible the flavors were. So thankful this place exists, I will be back!?

After hearing about this place for nearly 2 years, I'd been wanting to get down to Bridgeport to check it out, but I kept putting it off. Finally, after a friend had recently posted pictures of their drumsticks and mac & cheese, I decided the time had come. With some help from Google maps, I was able to find my way to Jr's Meatless without much difficulty. I drove past and parked down a side street. I stopped in front of the business to snap a picture, then, with my tummy rumbling, I went inside. I told the guy behind the counter (who I later discovered to be Jr. himself) that it was my first visit and I was huuuuungry! I ordered 2 large containers, told him to load me up with everything. I said one container would be my lunch and the other one would be dinner. I think he thought I was joking. I wasn't. I took the food home and started digging in. As I suspected, I finished one for lunch and the other for dinner. The food was absolutely amazing! The mac & cheese was some of the best I've ever had. The drumsticks were the best I've ever had by default...it was my first time having vegan drumsticks. But it will not be my last! I was amazed at how delicious the food at Jr's Meatless was. I'll definitely be going back!
