One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Always great service and delicious food. My favorite is Bacalhau à Brás - salted cod, onions and matchstick size fried potatoes with eggs. My husband had the pork and clams. We ended with chocolate mousse and flan. They are both such rich and creamy desserts. We can't wait to go back.
I called around 12:30 pm for a reservation and it was there. The Steamed clams in white wine and garlic sauce were great appetizers. Assorted seafood with clams, shrimp, mussels, scallops, and a half lobster in green sauce served with rice was great too. My fiancee enjoyed Pork meat with clams and potatoes in brown sauce. Never been there before. Went for lunch. Extremely friendly atmosphere. A random stranger overheard that it was my birthday and bought us an off the menu bottle of wine. We were the only non Portuguese speakers, but didn’t feel uncomfortable. The food takes a while to arrive but was excellent. The service was attentive. The grilled octopus special was particularly good. We’ll be back.
