“One of the best Italian restaurants around. The owner is from Sorrento and he brings the Italian charm. Very traditional menu with fresh homemade items. The pizza is light and fresh. The pappadella al ragu is one of the best dishes. The homemade pasta is extremely light and airy. Great atmosphere and spot for lunch or dinner.”
“We originally had a reservation across the street, but it turned out that they were actually closed so we ended up at Bank Sports Bar and are we ever glad we did! We were looking for a place to stop to get beers and a bite to eat before attending a concert nearby. When we walked in there were more than 65 in the bar and the vibe was exactly what we needed. Quickly we noticed there was one bartender behind the bar - ut oh. Right? Nope. Britt was truly amazing and this place is lucky to have her. We never went without a drink; she was attentive and kind. Turns out there was one person in the kitchen, too - AJ. Our food came out delicious and hot. All of the respect to these two. We hope to be back soon!”

“Last night we were there for an early Birthday dinner for me! It's been a long time since we've dined at Ralph 'n' Rich's, but I will say that our food was delicious, & the service was superb! Brittany was our server, & she was awesome! I can't recall our busboy's name but he was great with bringing bread to our table, & refilling our water glasses as needed. I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. My hubby really enjoyed the Spiedina Romano which is a kicked up mozzarella appetizer that if he fully polished it off, he wouldn't have ate his Chicken Piccata then tangerine sorbet afterwards! Don't worry, we brought home leftovers to enjoy! Topping off things was a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" when my tartufo came out! Reservations are strongly recommended especially for dinner, but Ralph 'n' Rich's is a gem that's had staying power in Downtown Bridgeport for many years. Go there & enjoy!”

“Owner Don Chava was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had Nachos, order of tacos of Carnitas, El Buki order and Torta. Aguas frescas of Horchata and Tamarido, very refreshing. This is authentic Mexican food! Carnitas are delicious just like the ones from Michoacán. Strongly recommended, every bite had an amazing flavor!”
“Traveling in the area for a family visit we had heard of this gem bakery and did our best to get there before closing on a Saturday. We selected a sample of the items the owner had left. A few donuts, 2 cookies and 2 meat pies. All are made with such pride and are delicious!! The uniqueness of the donuts can’t be explained .. must be sampled. The chocolate chip giant cookie is heavenly.. and the chicken Parm meat pie is today’s lunch. I’d highly recommend this woman owned bakery. She is remarkable and very customer service focused. We will be back when in the area for sure! Wishing you continued success!!”

“What a wonderful experience! I’m traveling from out of town and was looking for yummy vegan breakfast options, and Source delivered. Their vegan Animal Style breakfast sandwich was so good I went back and asked for another one. The tofu scramble is seasoned SO well, it’s so flavorful, and the bread is so toasty and some of the best bread I’ve had. Highly recommend. I also got their miso hot chocolate, which was really interesting and yummy, and the iced juniper berry matcha, which blew me AWAY. They’re seasonal drinks which made it more exciting.The staff were incredibly friendly as well, and the decor was lovely. A wonderful little spot for breakfast and brunch.Will return if I’m in the area again!”

“i am italian from new york. connecticut pizza has disappointed me so badly that i no longer look forward to eating pizza. i was taken to this place with my friends a few days ago. hands down it is the best pizza i have ever had in connecticut. it is everything a pizza should be. light on the sauce, heavy on the cheese, fluffy but crunchy crust. no burnt crust, no cheese sliding off the slice on the first bite, no excessive use of oregano, just a simple pizza the way it should be.i tried a plain cheese slice. this is always the litmus test for me. in my opinion, if they can't get a plain slice right, they're not gonna get anything else right either. they have plenty of options for toppings. a lot of the options are classic new york toppings like sausage and broccoli rabe and an authentic white pizza. they had some more outlandish toppings as well, but i think as long as they serve the classics they can do whatever else they want.i also had their pistacio cake and it was delightful. they have tiramisu and it looked great, but i was not in the mood at the moment. i bet it's fantastic though. i also noticed they had hazelnut ice cream, which is a little hard to come by around here. i plan on coming back for it.great atmosphere, incredibly helpful staff, comprehensive menu, everything you need is already on the table. everything was clean and neat and well-stocked. everyone should try it at least once.”

“A really good deli spot in Bridgeport. They have awesome sandwiches and soup options. They also have a breakfast menu as well. The lunch spot is no frills, a bunch of trackers to eat your lunch but the staff is really friendly and it’s the type of place when you come in, they remember your name.”

As out of towners, we picked 29 Markle based on location and reviews. We were not disappointed! It’s rare to luck out and find an amazing place like this!! Rebecca, our bartender, showed grace under fire with a packed room and a full bar!”

I love the orange chicken but I always try something different… The fact that it’s a family business makes me so comfortable eating there (I have been placing take out orders for about 5 years), and just so you know: they don’t deliver. That way their food is delivered to you is fresh directly, not compromising quality, also they’re VERY BUSY. Order NOW (this is not a paid promotion I’m literally a fan of their food ❤️)”

“Grabbed a quick bite here at the Bridgeport location. We heard so many rave reviews we had to come and check it out. And that's the hard part for a restaurant sometimes the raves are so ridiculous that you're almost always ultimately going to be on some level disappointed. I wouldn't say we were disappointed it was very good we did some experimenting with the wings and the drinks were good. Service however was exceptionally good. The hard part for me is I live right down the street from the best wing place in Fairfield county Vinny's backyard in Stamford so it's very hard to compete with that. Still haven't been to the Norwalk location to give a comparison there. But definitely this location is worth checking out. If you're going for wings asked the waitress for how you can experiment and try more of the variety of wings it's worth it.”

It was always clean, though now it is better designed and has new self ordering kiosks as well as traditional face to face. Though the parking lot is still small, it's far better than before and less cramped. Added designated curbside pickup spots which is nice and they have the option of using McDonalds app. UPDATE: Still doing great, food is fresh and ordering with the app is convenient. Staff is friendly :) 2nd UPDATE : Still great service and almost always fresh. 1 out of 20 I'll get a burger that's not super fresh, but everything else is fresh that I order.”

“I would descibe the bar as a local casuall "dive bar". My 1st time going and the bar area was full of people that looked like regulars at lunch time. The restaurant decor is dark and and they have live music in the evenings sometimes. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu had a great variety and we all chose different things to try. Lobster quesadillas, a burger, lobster roll, and blackened shrimp caprese salad. The prices are very affordable for seafood items compared to other restaurants in this area. I definitely would go back for the lobster rolls before the season ends.Kid-friendliness: Very much a bar. Not really suitable for dining with young children.”

“We live about 30 mins away and wanted to try a Bridgeport Caribbean Restaurant. We chose this restaurant because of google reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large food portions could easily feed 2 adults or 3 kids. We ordered the escovitch fish, curry goat and brown stew chicken. All were extremely tasty. I must also note that the curry goat was mostly meaty unlike most places that give mostly bones. The chicken curry did not taste like curry, and there were no vegetables in it - just sauce and chicken that tasted like it was leftover from the day before. I asked for fish and chips to replace it, and that was also terrible. It was burned and tasteless. For some reason, it came with salad dressing instead of tartar sauce. You’re much better off going to The Castle.”

Timothy's doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside for that matter, but like my mama said, "Never judge a book by its cover." We were greeted by the most wonderful people, Johny the owner, Cindy our server and Krissy who is in charge of catering. After talking with Krissy we were given the most generous amounts of food to try. Everything we tasted was so delicious and we knew immediately this was the restaurant we were going with. The hard part for me is I live right down the street from the best wing place in Fairfield county Vinny's backyard in Stamford so it's very hard to compete with that. I had the conch & shrimp with garlic sauce and mofongo and my wife had the whole fried Red Snapper. The conch was tender and flavorful, the mofongo made a perfect accompaniment to the garlic sauce. The Snapper was crispy and perfectly cooked. We left feeling as if our server was a dear friend and fully content with our meals. Everything far surpassed our expectations, thus, I am compelled to go to 5 stars here.”
