I love having this park so close to me. Fun in every season but especially beautiful in the winter. Home of the tallest Christmas tree in Connecticut, this park will surprise you every time you go. Loved the big fire pit where you can roast marshmallows or make your favorite s'mores. We went to the Halloween event last night and had so much fun. The houses exceeded my expectations, and the actors walking around were very in character and impressive.On the downside, I have been to Lake Compounce many times and I'll ALWAYS have the same complaint. After last night I won't be returning anytime soon because I'm tired of feeling taken advantage of. I don't think I've ever been there without a MAJOR attraction being closed. Got a deal to go here and had a great time. They have a water area with a nice sized wave pool and lazy floating pool . Food lines were very long , but had plenty of food stations . The ride line moved fast at times and had a few great ride options . We really enjoyed being able to get on everything with our friends and family .
