“A bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. The food was good, drinks were flowing. The restaurant was nicely decorated inside. Bathrooms were clean (always a plus). Waitstaff was pleasant. Order the Brisas Old Fasioned for the tableside presentation. Tacos pescado were crispy and flaky, pickled onions added the perfect amout of acid. Using plantains as the "bun" for the juicy beef sliders was a unique take on a pub favorite. Chips and quac didn't disappoint. Will visit again. Well worth the hour long drive in the cold rain.Parking: More spaces on the side and behind the restaurant.“
“What a treat! I joined some friends for her birthday dinner, (one being the artist for the new murals… amazing!) and left feeling like I cannot wait to go back for more. The Carne Asada was delicious. It was cooked exactly as I had asked . The portion was large enough to bring some home, which I did my son was able to enjoy trying it as well.Everything was 5 stars, from the guacamole to the Mojitos! If you’re celebrating a birthday, I would definitely recommend coming here because many of the places that I go to offer the shots with the flames but here they added bubbles and that just made it so much more fun! We all had such a great time.“
“Hands down the best authentic taco truck in Danbury, and the surrounding area. their food is delicious, service is excellent, and the family who runs it is nicer then my own :) En español, puedes decir "su comida es deliciosa, el servicio es excelente, y la familia que lo dirige es más amable que la mía". Mucho Gracias!“
“A number of months ago during a visit to New Milford, my wife and I had dinner at Vegas Mexican Kitchen. At that time, we were very much impressed with our entire meal. From the appetizer, to the entree and dessert, the food was excellent. It was a welcome experience.Flash forward to this past Wednesday. On a return trip to the area we decided Vegas Mexican Kitchen would be our choice for first night dinner. We were very pleased to find our dining experience was as exceptional as the first visit.Having traveled a bit we realize good authentic Mexican cuisine is hard to find, especially in New England. We have to say this is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a very long time.Every item we had tasted fresh, was not overly spiced and the portions were plentiful. The sauces were thick and had the proper flavor from what we would consider central Mexico. From the kitchen staff to the servers, they made our meal a delightful experience. If you want good traditional Mexican, The Vegas Mexican Kitchen is the place to go.Sigan con el buen trabajo. Nos vemos en el viaje de regreso.“
“**Revised**Swang back thru MT's to give them another try and overall I think they moved the bar up to a 6.75.I have a ton of respect for maintaining a eatery in this market and keeping it consistent with that being said heres the skinnyThis is a old fashioned simple home style version of Mexican...no vertical spit roast for char, no bells n whistles just basic. It's fine but lacks that wow factor. The asada is slightly better than I remember and still no pineapple on the al pastor although the flavor on the pork & the steak was good it was all very dry. These tacos were not messy enough lol. Still the same on the rice n beans with both being very tame and reserved. The pico is good but needs a lil punch.?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️Recently had an opportunity to try MamaT's and the experience was more or less what I expected. If I had to put a number on it I'd give it a 6.5 which is wayyyy better than some of the other area venues.Tried their street tacos and ordered asada, al pastor, and chorizo along w/a side of rice&beans. Everything came out fairly promptly though you could see they were all worn out from n overwhelming day (they were sold out of a decent amount of items). The portions were pretty much standard for street taco joints. The rice & beans were ok ...Might try it again we'll see there's room for improvement here.“
“We were hearing lots of great things about Casa Oaxaca. We stopped in on a Taco Tuesday. Plenty of parking in the lot. Really great decor. Plenty of seating on both sides of the restaurant including a nice bar area. There’s also a tv in the bar area for sporting events. Very clean restaurant and a great staff. When we were leaving, I noticed the tortillas being made fresh in the front of the restaurant. Made the experience even better. The food is amazing. They start you off with chips and salsa. We came during happy hour on a Taco Tuesday. We wanted to get a little of everything to try. Everything had great flavors. My favorite taco we had were the Carnitas. Really delicious chimichangas with a fresh guacamole. The empanadas were fried perfectly. The were filled to capacity. It was not like other places that put a little meat in the middle and it’s mostly shell. To end the night we ordered churros. Freshly fried with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Really finished off the great experience. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon.“
“Amazing experience at this taco truck! The personnel were very friendly and helpful. They definitely know how to cook too!My fiancée’s tacos were amazing and so was my birria torta. We love places that offer a topping bar.Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay are accepted. There are two tables at this place but you might as well eat in your car just in case you come at peak hours.Taco Trucks like these are often a hidden gem, offering a much better flavorful experience for less money than a traditional Mexican restaurant. The only con of this food truck, like many other food trucks, is that there’s no customer bathroom.“
“This place is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We started off with their chips and salsa, and let me tell you, the salsa was incredible! Fresh, flavorful, and with just the right amount of spice. They have spicier if you are a lover of spices as I am. The service was top-notch. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and always available to answer our questions. They made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our entire dining experience. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant that serves delicious and authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back soon and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Mexican dining experience!“
“I had high hopes for this place. The reviews were mostly great. We felt the food was dry. The tacos were on the dry side. They gave us limes with no juice in them. The tostadas were very good. Maybe a bit too much lettuce for my liking. The chips and salsa was stale chips and bland salsa. They do give you 3 bottles of different sauces i assume were made in house. Very tasty. The side of guacamole was absolutely terrible. Tasted like it came in a bag and they added tomatoes onions and cilantro. Very disappointing. See photoTacos were ok but just not great. Kids meal was very tiny amount of chicken nuggets with a pile of fries. We might give this place another try at some point. I feel like it was just a bad day. IdkThe waitress was great. Atmosphere was great. The prices are very reasonable.“
“Had this delivered so cannot rate the place (have stopped in & was very clean & quiet nice place to eat away from the noise) but as for the food, it’s FREAKN delicious. Have tried the chicken & steak burritos. Good flavor. Tasty. More like authentic Mexican. Not Tex-Mex. Nachos are yummy too. Won’t disappoint at all!! Just a bit pricey but what isn’t nowadays. Highly reco!!!!“
“The guacamole was awesome, hot dogs and fries were spot on. Great people working there and we were so glad to have tried the place today! We will definitely be backKid-friendliness: Had Pirates of the Caribbean playing in the big TV. Easy atmosphere“
“the food was muy delicioso and the waiter was perfecto! chips arrive with warm refried beans, which is a unique and nice touch, along with a nice salsa. Portions are large, drinks were refreshing, and I felt like I'd left Bethel and took a mini vacation to Mexico (ojalá!). this was my 1st time eating here but not my last!“
“Food was great, waitstaff very polite and friendly. The only downer were the bench seats in the booths. The vinyl was peeling off the upholstery, and it doesn't look very presentable. I hope the owner has it in the plans to replace in the very near future.“
“This is the best Mexican restaurant in town. The food is delicious, authentic, and so flavorful. Generous portions and courteous staff. Highly recommend anything with steak, quesadillas, fajitas, and nachos. The salsa is phenomenal. The margaritas are good too!“
“Main Street Diner is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. It is a casual dining establishment with a friendly atmosphere. The diner is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are looking for a delicious and affordable meal in Danbury, I would recommend Main Street Diner.“
“Love love love. So satisfying and generous portions. We had the carne asada and got two orders of beef empanadas. We split it all and we have two empeñadas left.Definitely revisiting the menu. The sauce was not hot - so ask for hot if you want it. I'm sure they have toned it down for the area. A new fav tho for hardy authentic Mexican restaurant food.“
“This bar/restaurant is small and a little cramped more or less a nice little hole in the wall. But the food was amazing. The menu has Mexican and Ecuadorian food as week as some American choices. The ceviche was sweet but very good. The quisquillas were amazing and that's hard to do for something so simple to make. The price was reasonable some things were pricy but otherwise decent. The service from the waitress could've been better but all in all would recommend.“
“An unassuming restaurant with authentic, flavorful Mexican dishes which you will savor for it's true taste and quality. The reasonable prices make it worth the visit. A small interior brings an intimate experience, both relaxing and totally enjoyable. The service is direct, friendly, and attentive. Take out is prevalent but eating there is so relaxing and pressure free.“
“When I walked in I was greeted and welcomed in. I have not been to this restaurant in a long time and had a lot of questions on what is what. The employee properly gave me an explanation of what things are and it was great.Vegetarian options: They offer rice, beans, different kinds of salsa and cilantro lime tofu very good.Kid-friendliness: They have a dine in area and I seen kids there they were happyWheelchair accessibility: The dine area has wheel chair accessibility“
“Our new fav spot for authentic Mexican food. Loved their street tacos and Quesadillas! Unique spot with colorful to the point menus for specific items. You’ll place order and wait in the car and they will bring out to you! Very polite and friendly staff! They get a 10-star for their reasonable pricing. Will return with friends and family!“
