“The Women's Club of Brookfield went to Happy Hour we had a group of 12. The service was outstanding. the menu for happy hour offered a wide variety something for everyone. The food was delicious. We did wish they allowed our group one big table as we were split into two table we could not all socialize properly. It is after all the reason we get together. We'd like to go back if this could be corrected. Overall a great value“
“Had a surprise birthday gathering for a friend at Bora. We had drinks & appetizers which was great! From the time you stepped into the restaurant the ambience is alluring . The simple but great tasting menu was sleekly designed to have you try almost everything on the menu. The service was great from the bartender to the hostess that waited the tables. I definitely recommend the expresso martini & the blackberry spicy margarita. All of the appetizers were delicious from the calamari to the meatballs to the fried shrimp. The star of the show was the fried truffle rice ball. All of the sauces were also nicely paired & seasoned to perfection.“
“My husband and I went there on a Friday night and it was a nice venue, but we waited between appetizers and main dish for over 45 minutes. What we thought would be a 1 hour meal turned into an over 2 hour meal, just waiting for our entrée. although the food was good we probably wouldn't go back unless we want to sit and wait.“
“I’m trying to put into words how absolutely incredible brunch at @jlawrencect was. If I had to rate from 0 - 10, I’d give it a 10 without any hesitation. @jlawrencect just recently opened so their space is brand new and beautifully decorated! The drinks were perfectly made, the food was delicious (seriously the tastiest brunch food I’ve had yet!) and the staff made our experience and time there wonderful! My top picks Drink - J. Law Mimosa Starter - Shareable warm donuts Entree - Main Lobster Egg Benny (with home fries) Dessert - Cookie dough with ice cream Definitely make sure to visit them. Perfect Sunday brunch with friends and or family ❤️“
“My favorite restaurant in Bethel. The food is always on point, and the staff is awesome. Went for the first time during martini happy hour with friends, and the bartender Grace made me an excellent espresso martini. I've been coming back ever since and she always takes care of me.“
“Had a wonderful night on New Year's Eve. Food delicious and great selections. Our waiter Omar was excellent. At the end we called the owner over and Tracy pulled over a chair to talk with us a bit. We had a chance to tell him how great everything was. Highly recommend.“
“Craft- a Unique Hidden Gem.As someone, who has frequented restaurants for 40 years, Craft is without a doubt the most consistent, and enjoyable place that I have had the pleasure to patronize.Craft offers amazing cocktails, wines, craft beer, along w/domestic, and imported beer, great food, and professional service.Make no mistake this is a well-run establishment, led by their stoic, and great-guy owner Jasson, who though usually stationed in the kitchen can often be found bartending, serving, greeting customers, and actively training new staff. Most times you are greeted by their exceptional Maitre D’ Raymundo, or master bartenders- the ruggedly handsome Peterson, future interior designer to the stars Sam, or California dream-girl Amber. The professional waitstaff is comprised of the elegant Lee, lovely Colleen, the beautiful & mysterious Nicki, future electrical contracting mogul Anthony, the always affable Justin, Terminator-like server Jorge, and captivating hostess Victoria. The “back of the house” is anchored by former “soccer star” Chef William, Christopher- “Master of the art of the fry,” the three amigos, and suds-busting engineer Selby round out the rest of a remarkable staff, who make Craft a most sought after destination.“
“The Farmhouse is the best restaurant around. This co-owned establishment has split the management, one owner on the front end with the other being head chef in the back and it is reflected in the quality of everything they do.From the highest of standards reflected in their sourcing of the ingredients and the preparation of the food all of the way to the service, accomodations and atmosphere I sincerely couldn't say nicer things. Top notch in every way.My husband and I had our after wedding dinner here and front end owner, Michelle who is ever present made everything set for us, reserving their back room with no issue and ultra accommodating to any changes we made to our party number/requests. The service for our group of 26 was on point and the food was exceptional. We have already been back and trust it as our regular, special place. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here! Thanks again to All of You at The Farmhouse ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: My father who cannot handle stairs/steps/inclines was able to handle the logistics of The Farmhouse with ease. It is a straight shot from the parking lot and handicapped spot with no curb of any kind to get into the easily accessible building.“
“The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!“
“The Barnwood is our go to for occasions as well just to eat out. The wait staff are very good . Our orders always arrive promptly, and as ordered. In addition to a well rounded menu there always are wonderful specials. We have never had a meal that we didn't like. The chef is inventive and steps outside of the ordinary with fish and meat selections. The only negative is that the acoustics are dreadful making it noisy when the restaurant fills up.Also the tables for two are small.“
“This place was really great! First time I'd ever been since they changed the name. Went for a fun night out with my nephews fiance. She's not from the area and I'd really hoped to show her some cool spots. This did not disappoint, even on a Tuesday. We got the loaded tots app and green monster pesto pizza. The tots were a but spicy, but nothing that burned our mouth. Just gave us a few hot flashes and some laughs. But really, the food was Excellent. We were there pretty late, saw the kitchen going home. Even as we were the only 2 ppl left, we'd asked the waitress if we were holding her up and she was so sweet and accommodating, never made us feel like we had to leave. I did tip well as a result. Would absolutely return!!!“
“Usually some good stuff but last few orders I got two burnt 13$ pretzels and some under cooked cold mozz sticks… so I guess the cooks just don’t care enough to even cook simple stuff adequately … think my trash can lit on fire the pretzels were so burnt ?♂️“
“First time eating here and was very impressed. This place is a step above “bar food”.The wings have to be some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Asian Zing flavor was great.Between wraps, tacos and sandwiches all the food came out great. The waitress was very friendly and did great interacting with the kids.Drinks were good and everything was reasonably priced. Will def be back“
“The marketing and events coordinator reached out to me to apologize for my last visit. She was kind enough to offer compensation via a gift card. We went back unrecognized to receive exceptional service and a very good meal. Stephanie, thank you!“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pippa Sports Café, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Danbury, Connecticut. As a sports enthusiast, this café immediately caught my attention with its vibrant atmosphere and passion for all things sports-related.First and foremost, the staff at Pippa Sports Café deserves applause. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and sports events. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel right at home. They go above and beyond to ensure their customers have an enjoyable experience. The café itself showcases a diverse range of sports memorabilia adorning the walls, creating an ambiance that caters perfectly to sports fans. With numerous flat-screen TVs strategically placed throughout the venue, every seat is a great spot to catch the game, no matter where you are seated. It's the perfect place to share a meal, grab a drink, and cheer for your favorite team with friends.Speaking of food, Pippa Sports Café offers a solid menu of classic sports bar fare. Their juicy burgers, loaded nachos, and wings truly hit the spot, satisfying any craving you might have during a game. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality and taste.Furthermore, the drink selection at Pippa Sports Café is extensive, with an impressive array of craft beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. I particularly enjoyed their selection of local and regional craft beers, which added an extra touch to my overall experience. My only small qualm with Pippa Sports Café is that it can get quite busy during peak hours, which might result in slightly slower service. However, the staff does its best to accommodate all customers promptly, so just a little patience might be required during those times. To sum it up, Pippa Sports Café is a fantastic spot for sports lovers seeking a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a vibrant social scene. The staff's dedication, coupled with the fantastic ambiance and scrumptious menu, make it an excellent choice for individuals or groups seeking an enjoyable evening surrounded by sports enthusiasm.Whether you're a local looking for a new favorite sports hangout or a visitor passing through Danbury, I highly recommend paying a visit to Pippa Sports Café. It's a worthwhile spot to immerse yourself in the game, share in the excitement, and savor some tasty food and refreshing drinks.“
“Food and our waitress was great..the place feels nice but definitely tight inside. It was loud in there because it's a small place. There was a party table near us with a buffet set up in the other room, but they should have been in there, so the atmosphere could have been “
“Marketplace in Newtown provided an exceptional venue for my bridal shower. Sebastian and Ashley, our servers, offered impeccable service with a warm demeanor. Manager Erick went above and beyond, being incredibly kind, reassuring, supportive, and helpful throughout the entire process! The ambiance was delightful, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for any special occasion!“
“Food was good. Place was abandoned at 12:00 on a Thursday which was kind of weird where we had to ask the server if they were open. We only saw one woman the whole time, who was okay. They were out of various options on the menu, (like sandwiches), which is part of my reason for not giving them 5 stars. (Maybe it was just an off day though). The passion fruit mojito our server made at the bar though was AWESOME. I would go back just for the mojito. The lemon chicken had a great sauce on it. Overall, a pretty good spot!“
“It's been years since I've been here, surprisingly food and friendly service are the same. I always get the French onion soup and Santa Fe steak wrap, get the picky 2. It's a good deal for $12.49. I remember it in 2007 for $6.49, how times have changed. Pricing is reasonable compared to other places and food remains consistent.“
“I had a healthy bowl with Cali rice, turkey burger alva Alvarado and broccoli (which btw was cooked perfectly) that was very good. Wait staff was fairly good, very pleasant when at our table, but we did have to find staff and request some basics like milk for the coffee. Prices were good too. Overall, a positive dining “
“Cute little place tucked away in the Ironworks District at the four corners in Brookfield.Sue and Liz - the owners - were very friendly and personable when I stopped in for a few treats this morning. Love the decor and the relaxing peaceful vibe. Had the almond croissant which was very good, I'll definitely be back to try more!“
