“Awesome that they are open for brunch/lunch as we have always been wowed by their food but used to only go for special occasion dinners. Everything we have tried on the menu has been delicious. The food is innovative and always amazing. And the atmosphere is fun, love their space. We always pop in to the British product shop next door after lunch to grab treats which is an added bonus.“
“Had a Saturday lunch with friends and 18 month old twins-staff couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. Had the turkey Chili- delicious! And went with the server's recommendation of beer (facehugger IPA), which went perfectly. Would definitely eat here again.“
“Really enjoyed your restaurant, probably the best clam chowder I have every eaten and I'm a snob when it comes to food.Shout out to Stephany who helped me with getting a receipt I needed. She was not only helpful but very pleasant and a wonderful greeter for your customers.Parking: Depends on the day and time you come. It's in a plaza which is pretty busy.“
“Have lived in town for over 30 years, live within walking distance, and went here last night with my wife for the first time. What a mistake, as we should've been going here since it opened! Both of our meals were terrific, service was friendly, and atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We're adding this to our list our regular dining spots and will be recommending to friends.“
“One of the best experiences I had in a while, coming back to Connecticut after 6 years. Very friendly staff people were incredible. Staff stayed late even after they were closed. We were treated very well. We’re welcome to very well. Food was amazing.“
“We had the next door experience: amazing food with very subtle and interesting flavors. As someone who’s familiar with southeast Asian food, the menu upgraded authentic local favors to another level with lots of creativity and thoughtfulness. Also love the atmosphere and decor.“
“A jewel box of a restaurant. Intimate and cozy with great attention to detail from the food to the decorating. Owner, Michelle, is welcoming and pays great attention to ensuring her guests have a special dining experience. My friend and I had dinner there last evening and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time.Thank you for such a wonderful evening.Martha Spiegel“
“I have said it before and I will say it again. Olio is far superior than any other restaurant in the area. Everything from the Octopus and the yucca fries to the chicken parm and the pork chop are some of the best I have ever had. This restaurant always pushes the limits of innovation and always has fresh quality products (including the ingredients) on its menu. What puts this restaurant over the top is the home feel that you get from Steve the owner and chef. From the moment you walk in till the moment you walk out you feel like you are family.Highly highly recommended.“
“The did was fantastic!! We enjoyed the French onion soup, the hot dog and the smash burger!!-absolutely delicious!! For dessert… wow! The pretzels with chocolate syrup were great! Not too sweet, just right!! And the hot chocolate lava cake was wonderful! A great time to spend with friends!!!“
“We had dinner this past weekend and the experience was phenomenal. We started with mark twain cocktails & burrata . The special Artic Char entree was delicious! Our server Patrick was so sweet and attentive! We will definitely be back ?“
“Match is one of our favorite weekend spots to have great food and great ambiance. The service is generally friendly and great. The steak tartare is fantastic as an appetizer or main course. The pizzas are good for anyone from kid to adult.Parking: A large paid lot is located behind the restaurant.“
“Now upon pulling up to this little spot one doesn't get a great impression. Its a small parking spot for a small restuarant...when walking in the feel of the place is homey yet a bit cramped. For some strange reason there are two different entrances to this lil pub which presents a bit of a draft issue in the colder months with people coming in and out of either side...other than the ambiance leaving much to desire the food was pleasantly good. I ordered the black cat burger which was slightly reminiscent of a rueben sandwhich with rye toast for buns, swiss, grilled onion, russian dressin....it arrived assembled and cooked to order. Nice size patty that was juicy flavorful and fresh. The onion rings were sparse but decent and all in all I would say it was good, I think that I might try it again in the summer for a better overall review.Edit: came back around the way here and the burgers weren't as good as I rememberedThe cod was a massive piece which is a good value but made for a clunky sammich. All in all its good but nothing that will wow you over atm.“
“We walked in early on a Saturday evening to see if they had a table for 4 (after the restaurant we had originally booked looked grim...) and were immediately greeted with warmth and professionalism. They offered to create a 4 top for us in a quiet corner and whisked us to the table. The service and food that followed were both terrific. A great lesson in hospitality. Make people feel welcome and feed them terrific, straight forward food with attentive but not overbearing service and reasonable prices!“
“Oh my! As an insufferable foodie I was expecting the food to be good but didn’t think it would be SO…. WOW! The lamb ribs are phenomenal the scallops were insanely delicious The pork chop was perfection and the tuna seared to perfection we finished with the chocolate Budino of dreams the entire meal was phenomenal Serious 5 ⭐️ dining“
“They plainly spell out what is gluten free on their online and in person menu, which makes dining out as a person with celiac disease much, much easier. The food was delicious. My only complaint is that the French fry portions could be a bit bigger.Dietary restrictions: Thank you for offering many gluten free choices, especially in apps and desserts.“

“Warm & welcoming, and a really nice meal. The turkey meatloaf is off the charts excellent, which is hard for turkey meatloaf to do but you will thank me later. The space feels in need of a modest makeover & the physical menus were a little beat up. I'll definitely be back, but hoping a few of these minor details aren't signs of complacency.“
“On Sunday 3/17 my girlfriend and I attended Washington Prime to celebrate our anniversary. We were met by Webster who had our table prepared and ready for us to be seated. We ordered several appetizers and meals that were out of those world. The drinks and service was by far top 10 in Connecticut. Gillian and Webster went above and beyond to make our day a special day. We will return in a few weeks to enjoy another 5 star meal and service. Thank you sooooooooo much for making our special day an amazing one.“
“We were running late and when we call they accommodated us. It’s a nice chill diverse spot. I love Norwalk!. Hubby is a chef so I am always looking for a place to impress. This place did it. It’s a decent spot for just about any event. Get the wings, get the burger, get the drinks. My hubby said the linguini and clams were decent. The bread is fresh and delicious. Everything is fresh made. I will return to try more items and try the patio. Thank you for your hospitality. ;)“
“The Cottage has quickly become one of our new favorite restaurants in Fairfield county! We had a cozy date night here enjoying our seasonal dishes! We loved the green goddess dressing and brioche croutons on our “Cottage Salad”. The wagyu brisket bao buns were also a highlight, and it was our first time trying squid ink aioli, which really exceeded our expectations! My fiancé ordered the Berkshire pork tenderloin, which was cooked perfectly and even came with a knödel (similar to matzo balls), which we thought was a great pairing! Their hand-cut tagliatelle was exceptional with lamb, labne, and a touch of mint. Desserts were equally as amazing as the rest of the meal! The broken meyer lemon tart was topped with a thick layer of meringue, and the devil’s food cake was topped with a bourbon caramel and paired with espresso mascarpone. The cocktails hit the mark as well, and I appreciated that they had a section for low/no alcohol drinks! Our experience at The Cottage was definitely memorable, and we highly recommend adding them to your list of restaurants to try in Fairfield county!“
“We had a delicious date night dinner out at The Spread. We sat in the covered, heated outdoor dining space and the lighting and fireplace made it very cozy and enjoyable. The food was delicious - we ordered smaller plates to share. The service was very attentive, almost to a fault. The bus staff was very on top of filling our waters the second we took a sip and taking plates the moment the last bite was taken. There were many staff members in the outdoor space that we felt that we were being watched as we ate, and they were ready to pounce and clear the table as soon as we finished something. We did feel rushed, which was the only downfall of the meal.“
“This Yard House location is attached to the SONO Collection Mall, on the Bloomingdale's side; no access from inside but just a short walk. Parking at the mall is convenient - pay by app or a link sent by text (we paid $3 for 3 hours so $1/hr.) There is Happy hour from 3-6pm like at other locations: 1/2 off select appetizers and pizza, discount on some alcoholic beverages. Great deal - our app orders came out to about $5-$7 each. Still enjoyed the sliders, tenders which came with fries; more generous with the calamari here; fried cheese curds are like mozzarella bits; liked the crispy brussell sprouts, well more burnt than crispy but liked them anyway. I know we ordered mostly fried food but there were other options for HH. We just didn't feel like having nachos, boneless wings and pizza. Blackened ahi tuna sandwich was good although some found the sauce a bit salty. Added $2 to change fries to onion rings. Mac and cheese had fried mushrooms and oil which we had on the side. We went on a weekday, so not as busy. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out pretty quickly and got drink refills when needed.“
“This was the best meal I ever had at a restaurant! Ditto for my husband also. The place was a bit noisy around the 5:30-6:30 dinner time, then calmed down after that. This was also the first time I had a hot fresh cup of coffee in a restaurant. It appears this is a popular place for friends and families to go. I am telling my family and friends the food is magnificent.Vegetarian options: I am vegan. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were perfectly done and very tasty. The portion was large so I was pleased about taking some home. The kale in the salad was the most tender I ever tasted. The cranberries were slightly sweet, and there was avocado included in the Mediterranean Salad also, I added some of the Brussel Sprouts to the salad it was a perfect dish! My husband got a shrimp dish he enjoyed. The dessert was tasty and not overly sweet, I had a warm apple tart with Carmel sauce.My. husband got the chocolate Lava cake and loved it. The level of sweetness was perfect not over done. I had no guilt breaking my diet to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The staff are friendly and timely bringing your dinner and your bill in a reasonable amount of time.So go and enjoy this wonderful restaurant!“
“Overall an amazing experience!! From the warm welcome we received when we walked in, to the delicious food, to the amazing hand crafted cocktails, we had an amazing date night. The staff at The Ridges treats each table like family, and provides a 5-star dining experience. We will absolutely be back soon and can't recommend this amazing restaurant enough. The best in town!“
“I luv the atmosphere from the wood burning fireplace and the exposed wood beams it’s just has a really cozy feel. There food is excellent I highly recommend there french onion soup and there burgers are great oh and there fried cookie dough is amazing I highly recommend this placeKid-friendliness: Great kids menu“
“One of the best Lamb burger I ever had in my life. Cooked medium to perfection.Fried oysters are also fresh and delicious.I wish I lived in Norwalk just because of this restaurant. Definitely going there next time I visit Norwalk and try their other dishes.“
“Visited One Twenty Three Restaurant after a tennis match. The exceptional waiter made our experience memorable. Indulged in delightful chocolate martinis and savored a delicious filet mignon. Special mention to the accommodating staff for promptly fulfilling my daughter's request for a second serving of pasta.“
“Best place to dine at the SoNo Collection! Food is consistently good. I've had the salads with the roasted chicken. Instead of getting stringy, shredded chicken, the salads are topped with a perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken breasts. Brunch options are terrific; my husband loved his sausage and biscuits. Sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients - freshly baked bread, crisp lettuce and flavorful proteins. Kids meals options are great to accommodate picky eaters to more healthy minded families. Service is friendly and professional. We had a lovely conversation with our server, a young Egyptian-American who made us feel comfortable and made our lunch an enjoyable experience. After dining at Pinstripes and Yardhouse with mixed experiences, I can firmly say that Bazille is the best lunch option in terms of quality, value and service.“
“The beef chili was delicious and the service was warm and kind. Ample parking, lots of cool places to sit, and most importantly the staff was easy on us when our baby made a mess lol! Very relaxed nice environment.Kid-friendliness: def Kid friendly“
“Fantastic sourdough and pastries (especially the croissants)Things are pricey but worth it. Quality is top notch. They focus on small details like using homemade preserves and nicely toasted almonds. The flaky pastries here rival France . Sourdough flavors alternate which make sono bakery a fun place to try new sourdough concepts. Some breads are better than others but all are good quality. Highly recommend the almond croissants“
“Great food. The appetizers were delicious. We had fried calamari with chorizos in a tomato based sauce that hit all the right notes. The ceviche was smooth, light, and delightful. We brought our own wine. One of the bottles cork broke and the manager was kind enough to remove the broken cork and put the wine in a decanter. Main courses were delicious and the churros and tres leches dessert were out of this world!.“
“Cozy little quiet place where I make sure to go have a lobster roll whenever in South Norwalk. Their lobster rolls are on the generous size and are to die for. The downsides are the high price and the ever shrinking (but delicious) sides that come with it. If money is not an issue, make sure that check it out.Parking: The street parking is scarce and I could only find either 15- or 30-minute limit“
“I was at Bedford Hall today for a Good Friday lunch with family and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff were amazing, making sure the kids were comfortable and everybody had what they needed. The food was excellent and I have been getting messages all evening saying how much all my family enjoyed today.Thank you for the hard work, will be back on a regular basis.“
“I can’t speak highly enough about Elm - from the delicious food, to the level of care provided by every staff member, to the exceptional cocktails and hospitality provided by Hector @ the bar. We choose Elm time and time again to celebrate our most special milestones and memories, including our engagement party. 10/10 recommend Elm once and promise you won’t want to go anywhere else.“
“Very good tasting food served in an elegant “New England type” dining room. French/ American cuisine. Among the appetizers, Deviled Eggs and Smoked Trout Rillettes were very good. The special ‘soup of the day' Celery Root Veloute was very tasty. Among the entrees, Olive oil poached Halibut and Pan-seared Scallops were very good. Among the desserts, Crème Brûlée and Cheesecake were good. Good wine list with some good wine-by-the glass options. Good service.“
“I visited this location for the first time for brunch and was very impressed. The food and the service were phenominal. The store that is attached to the restaurant is extremely nice and sell some great products. I plan on visiting this location on regular basis.“
“Lovely stop for breakfast or lunch. Kind of loud. Service was excellent. Main courses came before we finished our soup, but almost zero wait time for both courses. I had eggs, which were good. My friend had chicken pot pie which looked good. Note, signage to find the restaurant from Route one was not good. Even as I made my way inside, wasn't sure I was in the right spot. Will be back!“
“Always a superb experience at this hidden neighborhood gem in New Canaan. Entrance is around back for those in the know. Warm and cozy with a friendly-family vibe. The Double Double Burger and Cheesesteak are as good as you can get. Cocktails are prepared by arguably the best bartenders in the state and they are exceptional. Service is efficient and friendly and managers are always around making sure the crowd is happy. Go once and you'll find you can't wait to go back!!!“
“I get takeout from here at least once a week. The food is absolutely delicious and I never have any issues with ordering or pickup. I always get a build your own veggie bowl and love customizing it with different healthy options every time I go back. Highly recommend if you're looking for something quick and healthy!“
“Always have great food here. Lots of very healthy but delicious options as well as more comforting options. The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection and I love having the julienne of vegetables - very tasty and again, healthy. My vegetarian friend loved her main course too. Service is warm and efficient.“
“Shaved Brussels Sprouts. If you try nothing else, you'll be happy. But if you try anything else, you'll be ecstatic! Great food, loads of seating and a great bar. Owned by the same team that owns South Bay in Fairfield. Worth the trip.“
“I love having a meal or three at the Lunch Box when I am visiting family in Weston. The service is amazing, the food is always delicious and it's a relaxing atmosphere. If only I could visit more often!!Kid-friendliness: The grandkids were entertained with their "lunch box" crayons and paper. They loved their meal of pasta made just the way they like it!“
“This is the perfect place for a bridal shower. My daughter was so happy with the pretty setting, excellent food, mimosa bar, etc. I've never had so many compliments from guests...everything worked out beautifully. Thank you, Jeff and Antonio, for seeing to our every need. Eric, I enjoyed working with you to arrange everything and am so grateful for all you did, like matching the color of my daughter's wedding to the menu and sourcing an excellent cake. Lynn, you were so kind and patient with my many phone calls before the event. During the shower you kept us on track, anticipated our needs, and made excellent suggestions. Thank you all.“
“Tasty burger place, with lots of other options like bison, chicken and some more unusual options, too. Lots of customization. Different types of buns/wraps, Lettuce instead of bread, a variety of toppings, etc. It’s been a varied crowd the couple times I have been there. Sometimes, it’s mostly adults, but I have also stopped in and been seated next to a group of 12 8-year olds and a couple moms. TVs might be playing cartoons, or sports.Happy Hour is 3-6, with 6 dollar margaritas and 1/2 off beers, I think. No food specials, though.Food has been quite good. Salads have been good quality, onion rings are top notch. Need to try the milkshakes.Pricey for burgers, but quality has been good, servers are attentive, and it’s a reliable option in the area.“
“Every time I’ve gone to pinstripes in the past, the food and service have been top notch! (Their food is soooo delicious!!) Now I will be having my wedding rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes, next week. Sal Murano, the event coordinator, has been so gracious and helpful and I can’t believe that his response time has been faster than fast - even though I’ve been calling him multiple times on his DAY OFF! I’m so excited for next week…I know everything will be amazing ❤️“
“Went her for happy hour sat down very quickly got water and the menu we went for the calamari and pretzel stick appetizer the pretzel stickers were perfectly season and tasted amazing the calamari was perfectly cooked and the sauces were amazing I got the chicken sandwich which was amazing chicken was juicy and the chipotle sauce was so good!!!“
“I have been here quite a few times and have never had a bad meal here. Love the small plates and the menu selections. The Brussels sprouts and roasted cauliflower are amazing and the salads are huge and delicious! I want to try everything on this menu!“
“Learned about this Haitian restaurant a while back, it’s a gem. Had a dinner party there and it was great. The food and drinks were excellent. Only slight negative was that our assigned attendant didn’t speak much English. My family speaks a similar kreyol so it was ok and the owners were around to assist if needed. I highly recommend the griot and the bread pudding. Nice spot to try top tier Haitian cuisine. The zouk and konpa music selection was also a nice vibe.Parking: This is a short one way street with meter parking but it’s luck and chance to get a spot. There is a parking garage on the next block right behind the restaurant with a 5minute walk back to the restaurant. It was $1 per hour so very reasonable.“
“The food was excellent as was the service. The only reason we don't give it 5 stars overall is there was a DJ playing and we really just wanted to talk. There didn't seem to be a lot of people there for the music. It is a lovely restaurant and bar, and loud music just wasn't necessary for the experience. Maybe if the volume had been a little lower... But it is definitely one of our go-to restaurants in SoNo.“
“What a cute little place. With snow on the ground the setting could not have been more picturesque. We shared the Warm Brussels Sprout Salad, a Pasta with Eggplant and the Salmon. All were very yummy. If I was to pick nits, the Salmon could have used a little more zing.“
