3rd and final pizza of that day, but certainly not the least. I wish I had a bigger stomach to fit it all, it was very delicious. Also, really cool to see the photos of band members that I listen to.
A lot of places outside of New Haven claim to make New Haven style apizza, and almost all of them are flops. Fuoco pizza is the true outlier- the pizza was amazing and truly lived up to the hype. It was cooked PERFECTLY, the sauce was rich, the perfect saltiness from the cheese.I drove 45 minutes to break my fast here and the Fuoco team was so accommodating and kind, I will definitely be back.

I haven't gone out for a GOOD pizza in a long time. There has been a lot of hype over Fuoco Apizza so I was excited to finally check them out. They are conveniently close by from my work too. Don't know why I haven't been by sooner. Fuoco has really set the bar high with their coal-fired pizza. The pizza is slightly and perfectly charred (or burnt) that it elevates the flavor.
