“I've been trying all the pizza places in the area & I'm a repeat customer of Crossroads. This delivery order was for a meat lovers & it was delicious! I'm not usually a fan of thinner pizza that requires two hands so the toppings don't fall off, but this one, I will order everyday if I could, health wise. It's saucy, & has some amazing cheese pull. The toppings are fresh & in abundance. Lately, I've been throwing hot sauce on my pizza to add flavor, but none required here!“
“The manager David is amazing. He makes everyone feel like they're his only customer no matter how busy they are. He's friendly, funny, smart And obviously is a great manager as the staff is very efficient and friendly as well. It's a pleasure to go there.“
“Customer service was great but girl at drive thru did not speak English very well. I felt bad for her,it must be very difficult to do that job like that. That's the only reason I took one star away. Oh and the prices have sky rocketed!!! That's terrible a medium fry for $3.99! Wth!?!? I'm shocked and appalled at the prices and my medium shake looked like the size of a happy meal drink used to be! I'm totally disgusted! The kid at the other window made us laugh,even though he forgot our straws and sauces. Also the girl who brought out our food apologized for the wait which I was satisfied with. “I have eaten at this DQ since I can remember. It is just down from the college (Eastern Connecticut University) and quite popular with the college crowd as well as all the team sportsters who stop by to get a bite after a game. I do love the Blizzrds- but they seem to stick to me and I've been a cone small -onl y for a while here. The staff is well trained, friendly and quick at their jobs. A friend of mine was visiting from mid NewHampshire and as we approached he said this will be hours -- I usually give r up---- but he was amazed at the quick and accurate service. Kudos to a well run operation“

“I work in the area close to Nutmegz and have become very friendly with the people who work there! They know exactly what I want whenever I order! They did have a rocky start, but since they have reopened they have stepped up their game! I get great service in a timely manner with a smile. Everything is made from scratch, you can tell its home-cooked food, it's not often you find food like that anymore as everything is processed for convenience.Breakfast sandwiches and burgers and fries are my go-to and they haven't disappointed me yetThe apple snickerdoodles are so soft and delicious, they get an honorable mention at the end here.Please try for yourself!“
“I am looking at some of the reviews and I can't believe they are talking about the place we eat once or twice a week. We eat the grinders which are delicious and come with fries which are very well seasoned, or a salad which is always fresh and delicious. Their plain Caesar salad is always fresh and I love their dressing. My grandson gets the chicken quesadilla and the other one gets the chicken tenders. I love the cheeseburger or the ham grinder. We usually order delivery and they are always early. Food is fresh and warm. I don't expect steaming hot when I get delivery. Their calzones are delicious and huge. As I said, we eat here on average twice a week and we wouldn't do that if the food wasn't good and reasonably priced. An 8 inch grinder is $9.50 and a 12 inch is $12 to me that is a bargain.“
“This place has always been good. There is a new manager, Pat, who is running a tight ship. First time in a very long time I've heard a manager at any restaurant send employees out to wipe down tables and clean. This location is pristine! Kudos to Pat for staying on top of things. “Harry's Place has long been a Colchester stable for many decades (1925). It's even identified in Martin Podskoch's "Connecticut 169 Club" book, touring Connecticut's well-known favorites.It holds a special place in my heart as I've been participating in an annual gathering at Harry's for several years. Not only is the food and service spectacular (no... I mean REALLY spectacular!), Harry's Place helps prepare me for Spring and my 'to-do list' mindset with the help of gathering with old and new friends. We sit on one of the many available picnic tables or upon blankets on the spacious grounds with pockets of flower gardens to look at. I use this eatery as my starting point for another year's race for time and activities. The parking lot is well pressed down so motorcycles don't have issues of loose gravel.
