“Fairfield Pizza’s Cos Cob location has a sublimely friendly and service oriented staff. They want you to be made happy by enjoying their food and it shows. The cheese pizza in A-MAZE! when enjoyed immediately following preparation. It also makes for a good super-fast school lunch the next day. The pricing is competitive and the selection is wide. I recommend Fairfield Pizza at Cos Cob to all pizza lovers.”
“I moved here from Long Island and haven’t really been able to find a deli comparable to the ones there. I was so surprised with this place I called right after I ate my sandwich to let them know how good it was. Sliced thin cold cuts and fresh bread! Finally a place that knows how to do it right in this area! Highly recommend. Such a gem!”
“I am OBSESSED with this place.Tried it randomly out of convenience and haven’t stopped returning.. truly a gem!The sandwiches are so delicious. Not to mention - very affordable and the portions are generous! The cookies are great too. Everything is made fresh and with care. You won’t be disappointed….It’s one of those places you could build a routine around.. sadly I live in NYC and am only here briefly for work - will be missing this spot when I’m gone 3”
“amazing food!!! brought home salad, emilia pasta, focaccia, baci & crostata! so delicious and we will be back soon & we will dine in wstp also! grazie mille!”
“Sweet Lisa's wedding cakes are marvelous! The cake tasting kit you bring home has so many different frosting and cake combinations to choose from. Not only did our wedding cake taste delicious, it also looked elegant too. Sweet Lisa's was very responsive via email and it was great speaking with her about the cake design and flavors.”
“Definitely a cool little spot. The Cos Cob Dog I had was great. The guys next to me had a gyro and the other had a cheese steak both looked delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying something else.”
“The food was so good, I ordered a Chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and mango kulfi. I usually don’t finish everything, but this was so good I had to finish. :)”
“Was that just the best Reuben that I've ever had in my life? I don't think I remember one as good. I haven't put my finger on whether it was the dressing the sauerkraut or the meat, but it was unbelievably delectable ..I will travel out of my way to come here!”
“came into town from n.y. to drop my wife off at a bridal shower down the road. Came in the bar to kill time and so impressed how perfect the Guiness was poured. The bar is awsome and soo sad I live 60 miles away.”
“The staff here did a wonderful job preparing an ice cream cake and writing a message on it for me to bring to a friend. I got a small cup of pralines and cream for myself and it was creamy and delicious and a very generous scoop. The staff works hard. Be nice and find a better use of your time than moaning about ice cream on Yelp. The hourly wage here is less than what a sundae costs. Maybe think about that hardship instead.”
“This was our first visit to Coast Seafood. Upon walking in we were a bit apprehensive about what our experience would be like. That apprehension was put to rest from the moment we received a warm greeting with a 'thank you for coming to my restaurant.' Our cocktails were perfect. My wife had one of, if not the best cosmopolitan martini she's ever had. Come to find out it is the owners specialty drink. The pan-fried beef goyza dumplings served as a wonderful starter. For entrees, I opted for the filet of sole that was very tasty. My wife had the special of the day, Chilean sea bass that was absolutely incredible. Lucky me, she could not finish it, so I got to do the honors. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. The service was excellent with every need promptly tended to. We are very happy that we dined Coast Seafood. Next time we find ourselves back in Greenwich, CT we'll be returning for another excellent dining experience.”
“Amazing authentic Thai flavors, healthy and very little oil. Actually reminded me of some of the casual 'home cooking'-like restaurants in Thailand. I have no idea why the reviews are so tough on them here.Thai Fried Rice -- amazing authentic flavor, not greasy. Slightly saltier than I would prefer (I ended up mixing it with a little white rice). Tom Kha Gai (Coconut soup) -- loved this. Reminded me of something I had in Chiang Mai. Simple, clean tasting coconut broth.Guay Teow Gai -- simple chicken broth with rice noodles. Kind of a Thai version of chicken noodle soup. Will be my go to whenever I am feeling under the weather.”
“They are so nice here, and quickParking: There's not alot of parking, There are about 5 parking spaces in front, including handicap. There are Maybe about 7 more in the back behind the building. Chase Bank It's right next door and I had to park in there lot.”
“super good service, I really enjoyed dining at this family establishment. Delighted to come back. I’m bringing my kids here every Sunday after soccer practice.”
“The sushi remains consistently fresh, along with how it's served is always flawless. They know a great deal about the locale and remain happy to give advice.”
“Loved Don Chuy’s. We stopped in for lunch and mentioned it was my son’s birthday. The owner brought him churros and a little candle- it was so sweet! The food was also delicious and the service was great!”
“The food was amazing as usual. And the service is excellent!!Vegetarian options: There are pasta options, salads, and apps that are vegetarian. Also gluten-free optionsDietary restrictions: They can prepare things to specifications.Parking: They have a limited number of parking spaces. But the food is worth parking elsewhere and walking.”
“Recently went to Taj with some friends for dinner. Excellent food refreshing menu warm welcoming atmosphere very friendly staff and creative drinks that were off the charts beautiful to look and presentation was top-notch. Will be back for sure. They also have a great happy hour deals M-F”
“Augustine has become my favorite restaurant in the Mamaroneck area. The fresh pasta with seasonal preparations are always divine and not your classic Italian dishes (e.g. gnocci with the lamb neck meat this spring, and wild boar in the winter), the wine on point, and the service warm and authentic. The atmosphere is elevated bistro, so it works for date night or dinner with friends but the food is significantly better than any other local restaurant. The chef didn't earn a Michelin bib for nothing.”
“Food was great. I had the tuna entree and the mezcal mixed drink. Overall had a great time. The price per entree was steep and the mixed drinks cost $20 each.”
“If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This is the best bakery I’ve ever went to. The people are absolutely amazing!! I am totally impressed! I felt that I was in France✨”
“Townhouse is a fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere is chic and upscale, but not at all stuffy. There was a real variety of clientele from dates to families to a private event going on in their wine room (well-separated from the restaurant, just got a peek). Highly recommend the scallops.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options”
“I’d like to rave about how the pizza at Grigg’s … simply put you have to try it ! They’ve taken it to another level of quality! The staff makes it all work !”
“Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Easy to find street parking especially on weekends. Servers are friendly and attentive; the nigiris are our favorite - fresh and flavorful.A great spot for all types of group and look forward to coming back here again and try other dish!”
“This is like being in Paris in Darien. The crêpes were the best I’ve ever had. The savory crêpes were so elegant and delicious. I didn’t think you could make sweet crêpes any better than the ones I’ve had in the past however they were better than any I’ve had in the past. The service was authentic in excellent. Highly recommend. New York City has nothing on Darien crêpes!”
“Here for a bridal shower so there was a fixed menu. The food was amazing. Service is impeccable.. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. Oh and great, fresh bread too.”
“If you are looking for a great Vegetarian or Vegan meal then look no further. Layla's Falafel is the best.....The owner is friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. The staff is gracious and I never feel I have to wait very long for my food. The food is delicious, I specifically love the Jerusalem Falafel!”
“One word amazing. Only way you can get italian food of the same quality is buying a plane ticket to Italy ??. Menu is small but incredibley good you can't go wrong with anything on it. Great atmosphere feels like your sitting in your italian grandmother's house. Menu and desserts change daily. Everything is fresh and prepared to perfection.Parking: Free parking lot in rear.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is wheelchair accessible”
“The French fries were consistently good, making them a reliable and tasty side option. They maintained their crispiness even after a while, ensuring a delightful experience throughout the meal.”
“Love love love the way they prepare brussel sprouts! I order these regularly to go and pair them with my own homemade meal. The rotisserie & potatoes are also delicious. This is a favorite spot for quick well prepared dinner.”
