“The craft is something special, it's a hidden gem definitely, the place wasn't super busy which was surprising for a Sunday morning. All the bakery items were made that morning and they are gone by the end of the day. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is nice and accommodating. The owner is also very sweat. It was our first time here and to say we're pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The croissant is something straight out of a French bakery, super flaky and light and airy on the inside.Recommendations- croissant, coffee crumb cake, hot latte“

“This is a fun spot for tasty "Meximerican" food and margaritas. It's got the busy, slightly chaotic vibe of a popular local joint — the place was packed and rocking on a Saturday evening (literally...a live band came in, set up and started playing while we ate).Things to know before you come:1. They apparently take reservations, although that's not noted on their website. Would definitely have taken advantage of this had we known, but the wait wasn't bad and they have a good texting system in place to let you know when your table is ready.2. You can order and pay from your table by QR code, which took us a minute to realize. Still not sure if they have regular waiter service...it was a bit confusing.“

“There is plenty of parking in the lot. Most people don't realize, but there's a little banquet room to the left when you first walk in the building where you can host a baby shower or a birthday. If the owner is at the front, she's a little bit brisk but so sweet and helpful and she knows what she's talking about. They offer pizza by the slice and there's always a wide variety, plenty of cookies, cake pops, cakes, pastries and other desserts. They also offer dinners to go buy one, get one.“

“The first time we tried to go there, everything was sold out, so they closed early. The second time, I made sure to order ahead prior to pick up. The place was so cute with a sit in area that had your typical cafe vibes. I was surprised there were items left when I went to pick up my order the next morning (Friday) at 11 am. Everything in the showcase looked mouthwatering. I admittedly plan to try everything haha. They sell French and southern inspired pastries. The story of their family immigrating from Laos to the US was similar to my family from Cambodia. It's inspiring to see them become successful! The prices were high but the products were quality; I think it's worth it.I ordered an iced chai latte to go as well; this drink was good. I'm looking forward to trying their hand crafted lemonades next time. The showstoppers were the pastries. I ordered the cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissant, Southern sticky pecan buns, and egg in a hole.The egg in the hole was amazing. I was only planning to take a bite since I already ate my lunch. I couldn't stop and ended up finishing it. It has egg, cheese, chives, and chopped ham/bacon in a croissant. The sticky pecan bun was buttery and sweet; the candied pecans had a sugary crunch to it; the most amazing sticky bun I've ever tasted. My husband had the cinnamon bun and said 10/10. Pro tip: put in microwave for 5-10 seconds, even better. In conclusion, I will be back sooner rather than later!“

Three scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, avocado, shredded grilled potatoes, and a slice of toasted whole grain bread with notes of chocolate and coffee. Fabulous! “Celebrated my mom’s birthday yesterday. She wanted a cannoli cake. We were celebrating her birthday in Agawam and was told about Goivanni’s. We live in central CT and were driving up. I ordered the cake on Friday with the assist of Anna. We were running late so I asked a local family member to pick it up for us. The cake was outstanding and next time we are in town we will stop by and explore other yummy goodies that they have to offer.“

“So, I came here for Brunch. We had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated. That's generally a good sign. The presentation of the food is very good. Some of the plates I saw are something to behold. I flagged down a waitress ( turned out to be the owner ) and she was genuinely concerned that I received my food that way. Well, new plate, right away. She checked on me multiple times. The coffee is excellent and they have some excellent healthier options with good flavor ( I especially enjoyed the CHIA PUDDING and the smashed avocado ? “We chanced The Coffee Spot for the first time on a Sunday morning. What a delightful, if busy, choice. So many positives: delicious food--we had a wrap and an egg sandwich and 2 muffins--blueberry and caramel--YUM. There was a pleasant guitarist/singer, and we did find a table--actually 2 comfy chairs with a side table between. Most likely the place isn't as hoppin' on other days, but the entertainment and crowd added a nice vibe. We were served after ordering at the counter, and no one needed a pager or some other elaborate finder system. They just do the job and it was a lot of fun. We were thrilled that The Coffee Spot does NOT use Canola oil. Not a big fan of corn oil, which is what they say they use, but way better than having Round Up and Hexane residues in our food with Canola.“

“This place was on my list to check out since moving here. Pastry chef Kim Wood creates masterpieces that has Vietnamese and French influences. The ingredients were fresh, locally sourced, and organic. This was located in what looked like a house converted into a bake shop in a plaza. The place was very cute, had a couple of tables, and even a toy bakery stand for my toddler to play with. Everyone there was so nice and friendly there.I ordered a bunch of items; snickerdoodle cookie, chocolate croissants, banh truffles, mini chocolate waffle, and a Vietnamese iced coffee (yes, I shared it with my husband haha). The desserts I've tried were not too sweet, which I love, and delicious. The coffee was strong and tasty. The snickerdoodle cookie was lightly crispy outside and moist on the inside. The waffle had a lightly sweet glaze on the outside and chocolate on the inside. The chocolate croissants were flakey and yummy. The show stopper were the banh truffles; it tasted like very moist cake pops inside of a chocolate truffle; it had a golden sparkle to it too. Veronica and Diane's bakery operates on a "preorder" model, so their cookies, cupcakes, cream puffs, cake pops, scones and cannolis should be preordered by the dozen. Much of their business revolves around absolutely gorgeous made to order customized wedding and special occasion cakes and pies. They have close to thirty different cake flavors across the entire spectrum of yumminess. Here's the scoop on the flavor groups: "Classics" that include Chocolate, Vanilla, Red Velvet, and more. A "Fun & Delicious" line that includes among others Tangy Pink Lemonade, Pineapple Crush, Zesty Limeade, Maple Pancake, and Cinnamon Maple Four "Kids Favorites" of Sweet S'more, Cookie Dough Core, Cotton Candy, and Dreamsicle And some very intriguing booze flavors "For Adults" of Espresso Pubcake (made with Guiness beer), Rum & Coke, Lime Margarita, and Tequila Sunrise. On Friday and Saturday, they may have some cupcakes and cannolis for individual sale, so after a few text messages, I arranged to swing by and get 2 of each. While inside the store, I saw dozens of freshly baked cupcakes awaiting their custom "to order" icings, and two freshly baked stunning special occasion cakes awaiting pickup. We bought two chocolate chip cannolis, a chocolate cupcake, and a vanilla cupcake. We just finished scarfing down the cannolis. They were amazing! The filling wasn't super sweet, the chocolate chips were plentiful, and the shell was crispy and crunchy. A definite A+ of a cannoli. We will exercise some will power and share the cupcakes for tomorrow, but no doubt they will be equally stellar. Speciality items season to season, local goodies from other neighboring farms as well as their own amazing non gmo produce- They grown the best corn you will ever find. Their giant cinnamon buns, scones and pies are to die for. The smell lingering inside makes you instantly hungry and want one of everything! Pumpkins and hay rides in the fall, a beautifully filled greenhouse in the spring and Christmas themed everything during the winter makes this place a diamond in the rough. A farm meets a bakery, meets a general store... what's more to love. We need more places like Blossoming Acres.“

“(Note: This review is for the Albany Ave. location) This won't be a popular review. For decades my family would frequent Scott's Bakery. We loved everything that they offered (hardo bread, beef patty, coco bread, plantain tart and so on). When I said we liked EVERYTHING, I mean it. Everything was on point!! Yesterday was my first time (and last time) going into Scott's in about a decade plus. It is clear that management has changed (if not management, something has gone horribly wrong). The shell of the patty was beyond thick and there was little meat in it. The coco bread was beyond disgusting! It was a flavorless clump of undercooked dough. You know how coco bread is supposed to taste. It didn't taste like that at all. It seems as though they've cut corners on their peanut punch which had a gell-like texture. The BEST part of everything that I purchased was the Cola Champagne. As long as they continue to use the same distributor they can't mess that up. Maybe they had a bad day. I won't be spending money to find out.“
