“I’ve driven by multiple times and finally had a chance to stop in for an early dinner. Upon entering the hostess was very pleasant and took me to the front patio area. I also immediately recognized the pomodoro and garlic smell that is distinctive of high end Italian restaurants. The waiter was just as pleasant and recognized that I was from out of town ( must have seen my plates on my car ). The bread and smoky EVOO was a great touch. There were multiple menu items I wanted to try but decided that this visit would be the old faithful Chicken Parm. It absolutely did not disappoint. Arrived perfectly prepared from the kitchen and as accompanied by home made spaghetti. One of the best prepared chicken parms I’ve had on the East coast. Skipped dessert but will be back to try more! “We had a wonderful experience. Farm to table fresh. The shrimp and crabmeat chowder was the best we have ever had. Made with fresh cream and butter and lots of shrimp and real sweet crabmeat. (Many places add whitefish but this was all wonderful crabmeat). The flatbread and the coconut curry dish were also spectacular and we also enjoyed them for lunch the next day. It was nice and slow and relaxed, with a wonderful atmosphere and nice music. Very pleasant servers and atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!“

“The Mexican food here is Top quality and the best prices I've ever seen for gourmet Taco places in all of Connecticut, it's cheaper and better than Moe's and all the others out there, this place is spot on with the freshest ingredients and if you call in its done by the time you there and you will be happy with the total price $4 a Fat Taco $ 8 for Monster burritos etc. Gotta get down here people“

“Atmosphere always a 10; service right there at 10 as well. First time, after dining there several times in the past, food was not a 10. A couple pieces of crispy orange chicken kinda a little rubbery; wasn't a fan at all of their version of shrimp tempura. Chilean Miso glazed sea bass app a little mushy, but absolutely tasted great as always. I really enjoy dining at TAO, this was just the first time I was not overly impressed was all - it was good, but not great for the first time.“

“We were visiting Connecticut for the weekend. Found The Yolk Cafe close to the hotel, we walked in, received the most welcoming morning from the owner Jane and her daughter. We ordered some specials. Jane has the best personality, she was sending us samples and making jokes the whole time. We returned Sunday before heading home for another great breakfast! When leaving Jane gave us all a hug like we've known each other for years! Until we see each other again! We will be returning again in July!Thank you to the staff and Jane for making us feel so welcome! ?“

“Service was top notch. Our waiter was on top of everything, friendly, and honestly could not have been better. The fritto Misti appetizer was good, but the breading was very mushy. Kind of like it was either fried at too low of a temperature or was sitting around for a bit. The whipped ricotta with mortadella and pistachio pesto was very good. My wife liked her Campanella alla vodka, which actually had bits of prosciutto in it, something a lot of places skip. I had the sausage with spinach and pomodoro. The sauce was a bit thin and kind of bland. The sausage was supposed to be spicy, but it really had no kick. A little disappointing. Dessert was tiramisu. Good flavor, but definitely used whipped cream for the filling. Mostly tasted chocolate and powder sugar, not so much the espresso. Didn't expect too much going in - just needed to grab a bite before a show. A little expensive for what we got (quantity and quality), but not totally unexpected for the inside of a casino.“

“Hash House a Go Go is a “must stop” for breakfast when visiting Mohegan Sun. Large delicious portions my favorite the huge pancake and bacon like no others. All wash down with a mimosa and delivered with outstanding service. “Terry” has served us a couple of times and she is so helpful and friendly we wanted her to sit and eat with us.
