I spent more on a few of their deserts for take out.There is plenty of parking in a rather nondescript strip mall. “The donuts here are definitely much better than most any place in Ffld County. They are very fluffy/yeasty. The best was when I went at opening time-- so fresh. Tastes like they use real quality ingredients. Even the next day, the donut we saved didn't have that awful bad oil taste. Chocolate one is my favorite. “What a wonderful experience! I’m traveling from out of town and was looking for yummy vegan breakfast options, and Source delivered. Their vegan Animal Style breakfast sandwich was so good I went back and asked for another one. The tofu scramble is seasoned SO well, it’s so flavorful, and the bread is so toasty and some of the best bread I’ve had. Highly recommend. I also got their miso hot chocolate, which was really interesting and yummy, and the iced juniper berry matcha, which blew me AWAY. Family owned and family run business - I let them know it was my first time and they gave me the full run down on their standard flavors, special flavors, recommendations, and fan favorites! Extremely friendly service and helpful - I decided to go with a small Cookie Monster ice cream with brownie chip hard ice cream. The brownie chip ice cream is a milk chocolate ice cream base infused with thick, soft-baked brownies. It was BONKERS EXCELLENT! The Cookie Monster consisted of crumbled Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate chips with your choice of ice cream flavor. It was alchemy! What a great bite to this ice cream if you have a sweet tooth. I didn't have much time today, but I plan on trying their high end root beer sealed in wax next visit. “Traveling in the area for a family visit we had heard of this gem bakery and did our best to get there before closing on a Saturday. We selected a sample of the items the owner had left. A few donuts, 2 cookies and 2 meat pies. All are made with such pride and are delicious!! The uniqueness of the donuts can’t be explained .. must be sampled. The chocolate chip giant cookie is heavenly.. and the chicken Parm meat pie is today’s lunch. I’d highly recommend this woman owned bakery. She is remarkable and very customer service focused. “Stopped in one morning after a class at rowhouse. Clean place and there was a long line. The coffee is already made and pumped out (or take. From the chiller for the ice coffee). I got the pistachio which was pretty good. Also tried the ketogenic plant-based eggs. Not sure the brand. But it was Meh. The worker offered to add either chives, "cheese" or "bacon" bits, which was nice. I went with the chives. Glad I did, because not sure if it would have had any flavor otherwise. In short, go for the coffee...maybe they will expand their menu in the future. Some protein muffins, oatmeal or grits would be great...“

“Really good coffee. They rotate the beans they use so sometimes so sometimes it tastes different but they roast beans in house and it makes for some of the best coffee in town. Their breakfast sandwich is also great, with crispy bacon and eggs that aren't over or under-dome, and the best part is the pretzel style bun they put it on. 5/5 favorite breakfast sandwich.“

“I love Las Vetas! It is the best coffee spot in Fairfield, no question. The vibe of this spot is so cool, with various music and other 60s/70s memorabilia and tchotchkes decorating the interior. It feels old school and classic in such a fun way. There's even a piano near the back. It's not just the ambiance, the food is great too. Frothy, delicious lattes are served in mugs, if you stay for your meal. They also make really tasty breakfast sandwiches, probably one of the best I've had in the area. And the employees are great too. Always super nice, greeting you with a smile and a brief conversation. I really can't recommend Las Vetas enough. I'm now a regular!“

I buy their beans to make French Press at home and the baristas (shout out to Andrea and Yvette) helped me to find a blend that matches the flavor profile I enjoy. I don't find the space very conducive to spending a lot of time there--inside is narrow and very sunny, outside also has basically no shade unless you can grab the one table with an umbrella--but other people seem to linger and work. Forty-five possible varieties with some unusual ones like Banana Cream Pie, Blueberry Cheesecake, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and Sweet Potato S'mores. We picked up a Chocolate Chip (Brown sugar cookie mixed with dark chocolate chips) and the love child of a brownie and a cookie called a "Brookie" (Brown sugar cookie mixed with dark chocolate chips swirled with a fudgy brownie base) for $4.75 each. Now, what does a $4.75 get you? Well, quite a bit - they were 4 inches across and an inch thick. A teense over six ounces in weight. And speaking of weight, according to their website, each cookie contains 4 servings at 170 calories per serving. So, in other words, each cookie contained 680 calories (in case you're keeping score at home). We each rationed out a quarter of the chocolate chip cookie last night, and the portion size was surprisingly decent. And it was delicious! Our server Jonathan, was super friendly, had a great personality, and was a pleasure to chat with. Chip City has 31 locations spread across CT, FL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, and VA.“

I was there that day and witnessed it all happen. The owner of the establishment and his reply is the completely accurate story. The staff was quick in their ability to make it right but I’m sure nothing would have been correct for her that day. I myself was astonished by the attitude and demeanor of the customer that day and would find it unacceptable in every event. The establishment played every exchange correctly. “Donut crazy consistently has some of the best donuts in the state (all locations), as well as fantastic breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods. Service at this location is very wonky...they will take 5 guests quickly then leave you waiting for a while and it all seems very unorganized. I generally love coffee at donut crazy but this location doesn't do pour overs, so major point loss for that.“
