My favorite pizza place of all time. When I was a freshman in college I attended a school in Long Island and a friend of mine said they were driving to upper New England for the weekend but stopped off the highway and randomly found a pizza place that she claims was the best pizza of all time; it was Carpanzano's. The service is always friendly and easygoing, even when busy. The owner (or who I believe to be the owner) is always very polite whenever I see him. The interior is small without a lot of seating, but it is in my opinion a cozy and quaint little spot. It seems to be mainly a place to order out from, but I enjoy eating there from time to time as it is a perfect place to go if you want an intimidate little setting to unwind or catch up with an old friend.

The food is good, when you actually get it. Today's experience will be my last. We called in an order 1 large and 1 small pizza. I was told 45 minutes. I showed up about the 45 minute mark and was told it would be 8 more minutes. I stood around for 20 minutes, chatting with the other patrons (they also think the service is terrible). I was then asked what I ordered and was told it would be 8 more minutes….. crazy, right? I told them that I already heard that one and the lady walked to the back to speak to the owner. The owner looked up at me from the kitchen and just went back to work. 20 minutes later they again ask me what I ordered *eye roll*. I tell them again. The lady goes to the back and come out to tell me they lost the ticket. I then asked for a refund, which they gave. Not one apology was given. I’m done. I called Naples and 20 minutes later I had my food. Please just do yourself a favor and bypass Carpanzanos.

We tried to order pizzas last week and they no longer have website/their menus online. We called and ordered from someplace who did. It's a shame because we've had there pizzas and they're pretty good.

Eggplant hero side of sauce.Microwaved eggplant was rubber. Sauce was awful. Save your money go elsewhere.
We have been patronizing Carpenzano's for the past five years. Their food is consistently terrific. In an area where there are many options for pizza/Italian food it is our go-to place for takeout. Previous reviewers mentioned charred or burnt crust. That is by design. New Haven style appiza (pronounced ah-beetz) is cooked in a wood-fired oven that produces a thin, crispy crust that is charred, which is known as "leoparding." It's the best!

I don’t know where to even start with this, I am so disgusted by the service of this place I came in to pick up my pizza, the customer service was pretty bad it took a while for the guy to acknowledge I was there. And don’t even get me started on this pizza, it was so disgusting there was carbon all over it and the pizza was burned pretty bad. Which makes me believe that you guys don’t take care of your place at all, I felt pretty bad because it made me feel like you guys didn’t care what you serve to the customers. Please don’t go to this place, The look of this pizza should speak volumes!

I ordered lasagna. What I received was 2? Maybe 3? Lasagna noodles so over cooked they were adhered together and stuck to the bottom of the to go container. No layers. The bottom noodle burned. And sauce. No ricotta - isn’t ricotta what makes lasagna a lasagna? this mess was $15. What a joke.

I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve never felt like I needed to a give a review until today. The food is always great and the pizza is always a 10! Side note the new employee Megan which I met today could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Always great service and phenomenal food.
