“This is a wonderful Black owned family restaurant and bar. The food, drinks and service are very good and the atmosphere has a warm and inviting vibe. There is Comedy Night on Thursdays and a DJ and Karaoke on Fridays. The entertainment is top notch in this safe venue where the mature can relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. I love going to this restaurant.”

“Went in for the first time hesitant but I’m so glad I did. Sushi was so fresh and delicious. So many options to choose from and the price is justified by the quality. There’s so many all you can easy buffets in CT by this one is by far the best I’ve experienced. Service was great, the staff were so friendly. The place is beautiful and well decorated. The place was packed busy but service was fast and efficient. No complaints at all”

They are celebrating their 22 years anniversary serving good food and very well proportioned. Thank you Ixtapa for a great Sunday afternoon. “I go every day to get coffee from my faves, Shelia and Camille! The Chai is my go-to, but I sometimes get a Caramel Macchiato from them if I need some more caffeine. Only issue is they always run out of bagels and pastries by around 11am and I'm lucky if I can get anything like that later on. Probably the best dining hall station on campus, but go early if you wanna get something to eat. They need to get more food inventory.”

“We just hosted a baby shower at Cafe Amici and can’t rave enough about them! The staff was exceptional, helpful and so kind. The food was also outstanding! Our event was buffet style and they made sure we never ran out of any options while keeping the food hot and delicious. Lindsay was especially lovely and cheerful, you’d think she was just as excited to be there as we were! We will absolutely be back!”

“Just grabbed a pizza and wings from Star Pizza, and I couldn't be happier. The pizza was exactly how I like it—crispy crust, just the right amount of toppings—and the wings were spot-on. What really stood out was the customer service. The young man at the front desk was super respectful and kind, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was just right. Definitely planning to come back soon!”

“Use to order here a long time ago, and ordered recently not knowing it was under new management. Felt for a slice of pizza, but since they didn't have slices, I brought a small pizza. The second time I requested it a certain way and he delivered. I ate the entire box, you would think I was eating for 2, guest my appetite is back. The sauce did not burn my chest at all and I ate it late at night. I would recommend ordering from here.”

“I ordered the egg Benedict and was disappointed. The hollandaise sauce was not very good and the biscuit was soggy. The home fries were not flavorful either. I had to add a lot of salt, pepper and hot sauce to give any flavor to the dish. Finally , the dish was served on a plastics plate with plastic utensils.”

“This was my first time at Wentworth’s, and I’m so glad a friend recommended it—especially because they offer dog-friendly ice cream! It was my pup’s 8th birthday, and I couldn’t find a place that felt special enough until I heard about Wentworth’s. The team at the counter was amazing—so friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited when they heard it was her big day. My dog devoured her birthday treat (tail wags of approval!), and my mom and I were equally impressed. She had the chocolate chip raspberry and I had the peanut butter Oreo—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, creamy, and just hit the spot. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. We’ll definitely be back very soon. Thanks, Wentworth’s, for making our celebration so sweet!”

Between New Haven & NYC styles. These guys use quality ingredients and it is reflected I. The end product as well as the prices, which are slightly high, but absolutely worth it considering the quality. In addition to great pizza the wings at Whitney are amazing. Huge, meaty, super flavorful, FRESH wings are very hard to avoid.
They are open super late (between 1-3am while school is in session at The Q. Primarily takeout & delivery (they have a couple of tables and a few barstools), however the place is very clean. Even the restroom is glistening.

If you are traveling on the Merritt or I-91 a pit stop at Whitney pizza is the pro move.”

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!”

Nice enclosed but out door area with seating. 8 large screen tvs and a projector used for many activities sports, presentations, DJs. Great for a nice cool out lounge. Even better for events as well. Food is delicious and freshly made. Without a doubt the worth the wait. Wait time for food is minimal not excessive. Wait times for seating depending on event. Great hospitality.”

I like how you can pick one or two proteins to mix it up. We also got the chicken egg rolls and they were so good, not too oily. Also, came with really good sauces, like Sriracha chilli sauce and extra teriyaki sauce. You can sign in and earn points.
Definitely cost effective and if you are trying to eat healthy you can remove the rice; which I appreciate. 💯 out of 10 we would eat here again! 😋”

“So far, I’ve only had the chicken and broccoli which is very good, but I have to say the real star out of the two items I ordered was the hot and sour soup! They’re hot and Sour soup is the best I’ve had in the area hands-down however it is very spicy so if you don’t want it spicy, ask them to alter it. Update I tried the curry shrimp and it was the best curry shrimp dish of any Chinese food establishment I’ve ever been to.”

Our favorite dishes are the Massaman Curry, Tamarind Shrimp, and Spicy Bamboo, but every dish is so tasty and flavorful. Absolutely the best Thai food around!!”
