Maybe it was an off day? Asked for no croutons in soup and for cook to sauté ingredients of western omlette before adding egg. Had to return soup to get rid of croutons and western onion/pepper/ ham barely cooked. Also the French onion soup barely tasted like anything - stretching to make ends meet? Bathroom ceiling tiles also show evidence of no money for maintenance. This place had been a favorite when we were in hamden, maybe we'll try again someday.

This used to be a great go-to place for good honest food. During COVID I did carry-out a few times, it was not great but I wanted to support the restaurant and staff. Sorry to say in the past two months the food has just been terrible. It is sad to see a great place go down in quality so much. I'd rather see a limited menu that is done well than nothing done well.
