“We needed to find a place to eat; driving back from New Jersey daughter's softball tournament, my daughter found this place; the kids love rice and beans brown; we stopped in a small business; the food tasted good, looked fresh, and it was perfect my wife, and I had rice with beans and goat meat, and it was great tasting as well.“
“The Russell was quite an experience upon my first visit. My girlfriend and I tried it out and it has been an impeccable visit suh far. The meals here are delicious. The sauces & dressings? Pretty unique, given the combinations they make with a particular meal choice. It was also quite a creative space, I admire it. Artworks placed around the space, game boxes, and also quality customer service. Definitely a 10/10.“
“I have ordered both in and had food delivered. I love the food. I’m partial to the salmon, shrimp pasta and the j*** chicken pasta. That is also the three things I have tried from them. I first ordered the $5 plates to try them and have not stopped going since. It’s not your typical pasta. I love the combination of flavors and the subtle punch. I get tired of food easily but Ravi’s has definitely added some variety. I have recommended them to my family and friends. Love supporting a small business in our community. Pray prosperity over them.“
“Came into town from Florida visiting family and was recommended I try Sisters for breakfast. The ladies that were working were very sweet and patient. My food had so much flavor that I had to go back a second time. Both time my plate was filled to the edge. I definitely recommend and be prepared to eat.“
“We walked in for lunch and the energy was amazing!! We sat at the bar with the owner and she was great company!! The food was great we had wings, calamari, oxtail and curry goat!! Good portions and good flavor!! You must try her RUM PUNCH!! Lol IF YOU DARE!!!“
“THE best Jamaican food I've had! The staff is quick & friendly & prices are very low ESPECIALLY when you consider the amount of food you get. Try the mac & cheese, it's amazing. They stay open very late tooParking: The parking lot is a bit small but I've never had a problem parking more than a minute walk to the door“
“Rarely any pork dishes but all other Jamaican Faire I believe. I've never ordered pepper shrimp or fish so maybe they have it maybe not.Parking: You can park on the street but most of it is bus stop and the other side of the street is free and a shared lot with a liquor store so it's always revolvingWheelchair accessibility: Not accessible, stairs into the building“

“I am a frequent customer, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is very pleasant to be in. They offer a lot of different services and are very kind and giving. It is a wonderful family run restaurant, they are very active in the community and is a very positive influence to the hartford community! Hands down the best Jamacian food.“
“Great food, some of the best ox tails I've ever had. Beef patties are ok. Jerk Wings are amazing!! Service is good, you can tell it's someone's mom or grandma in the back cooking because it's hands down delicious. Pricing is reasonable for home cooked food. Ambience if good, love that they painted the building years back and gave it a nicer look. They have both street and onsite parking.“
“Came on a Sunday and ordered a decent amount of food for my family . 1 large meal with fried chicken n jerk pork , Soup and 2 small chicken meals . The woman serving me had a little attitude but then eventually made an effort to be more pleasant after I matched her energy . The food was good though and I’ll be back ??“
“Ordered a beef patty and coco bread, tasted just as it should, beef patty was warm and tasted good, coco bread was soft and warm as expected. The lady who served me was nice and polite with her service nothing more was needed.Seen some other reviews and I think people who don’t grow up in the islands or from a Caribbean background expect to much.Atmosphere rated low just due to outside lingering people but expected in the city and a hotspot strip for restaurants and stores.“
“My favorite is the salmon and Rasta pasta (spicy). Food is great and service as well.Located downtown Hartford. You can take it to go or eat in. Cozy little place. I come from New York at least once every two months to get my food from this establishment“
