During my recent visit to Hartford Poke Company, I encountered a hair in my food, which greatly affected my dining experience. Despite bringing it to the staff's attention, their response lacked seriousness, with one member even smirking. Disappointingly, the restaurant doesn't offer refunds for such incidents. While they offered a chicken appetizer, it didn't suffice to address my concerns. This experience has made me more cautious about dining out and underscores the importance of cleanliness and customer service in the food industry

I've been here 3 times. Yesterday it took time to be noticed to order at lunchtime then the drink order was heard wrong which they remedied. Enjoyed my bowl so I ordered take out today for my husband to bring home. Yesterday boba was included in drink without asking, today no boba in all 4 drinks and the poke bowl has the wrong ingredients. Tuna for Shoyu tuna would be one thing but it's a dollop of spicy tuna. So I'm out 45$.

The service is just terrible, came once it was bad but gave the benefit of the doubt, second time same thing, third time I’ve ordered two bowls and the person looks at you with absolut disgust and can’t even follow instructions to which bowl I was trying to get the ingredients. She definitely notice the mistake as she quickly left and put the bowls by the cashier. Never coming back here again.

The most bland food I’ve ever tasted in my life. Server girl and cashier extremely rude. Horrible variety. No toppings on a poke bowl? Makes no sense. Also, asking for a top for my food was extremely difficult, cashier just threw it on the counter, stared at me then went straight on her phone. I don’t know what kind of service this is but it was garbage.

Yesterday was my second time getting something from Hartford POKE Company and I was just as impressed as I was the first time I had it. I got the Volcano Ahi bowl and it was a perfect combination of textures, flavors, and ingredients. The rice is always perfectly cooked. The sauces are to die for. And with this bowl, the crunchy onions really set it apart for me.

We ordered the Onigiri-Pork Tamago Sandwiches. Young lady that made the food was really pleasant but the Asian guy in the grey shirt and blue hat was AWFUL. The sandwiches were good tho. Cool little twist to Spam Musubi.

*green monster - very goodOnly one vegan bowl, was tasty but would be great if they had more vegan bowls. The Inari was good but a little overly sweet. Felt like the bowl was lacking a bit in protein overall, could have had more tofu.

Returned for second visit after VERY tasty meal day previous. First time here yesterday. Actually got same meal today - Banzai pipeline - and it was definitively a different meal. One - not as much food included, two - something deep, green and totally different than previous day on top, and three - the salt content in the meal was horrible, again NOT on the meal the day before. Ate about half of the bowl only. Should have returned and said something, but just did not, my mistake.Need to work on consistency here folks. VERY different product on the second visit, enough that I am hesitant to return. And the salt shaker needs to be REMOVED from the kitchen!On a positive note, employees were very friendly and good customer service. And the value is there - but only the first visit when the male employee prepared the bowl - NOT on the second whatsoever.
Delicious make your own poke bowl. I got the shoyu tuna with tempura shrimp on a bed of greens, cucumber, & cabbage with the spicy mayo and eel sauce. My partner got the green monster. Service was pleasant and fast. Ate the tables on the lower level and got a cocktail from the bar in the middle. Went upstairs to play a couple video games before we headed home to the burbs. Definitely recommend.

Everyone loved their meals. Hartford Poke had the longest line at Parkville Market, but because they are so efficient, everyone got their meals quickly. It's the perfect place because you never have to wait long, but unlike typical "fast food" there is no sacrifice with the food quality and taste!
