“French fries were tasty, unusual shape, kind of like a steak fry. Burgers yummy, good size and made to order. the clam chowder soup was salty, thick texture with fresh clams. Service is friendly and attentive. They were a little slow with the dessert but they explained this was because they had to make fresh churro batter which was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is a little loud but we liked the open kitchen concept and clean but basic setup.”

“I highly recommend Salute. We ended up at Salute after asking for a recommendation from a coworker for a family dinner. As soon as we walked in, they embraced us as family. All the wait staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and the service was quick, but not at all rushed. When the owner, Jimmy, learned we were there celebrating some big things, he truly went out of his way to make us feel special. I can’t thank him enough for all he did for us. It was our first time there, yet he took the time (on a busy night!) to learn our names, ask questions and congratulate us. The evening was complete with incredible food, gotta get yourself the cheesy garlic bread (YUM!!) and all our meals were generous portions and delicious. We all loved our drinks, too! After mentioning our experience to my brother, we learned him, his girlfriend, and her family had a similar experience. This is how they treat everyone.”

“My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.”

“The food is insanely good. My friend and I dine at Trumbull Kitchen before we attend Hartford Stage, and she was still extolling her dinner on the drive home after the show. She had the marinaded steak. The best thing was the response to her request to replace the fries with veggies. The choices were plentiful, and the side salad that arrived was gorgeous.My dinner was equally delicious, seared tuna with salad. Yummy and beautifully plated. The salad dressing (served on-the-side) was exquisite. We each had reasonably priced glasses of wine.Julian, our waiter was running, as was everyone on staff when it became crazy busy at around six o'clock. The bar was hopping and there was a line waiting to be seated. Yet, he checked on us every 5 to 10 minutes and made sure we were well supplied with the spicy, chip-like crackers that come in the bread basket and are irresistible.If there is one negative, it is the very loud sound system which pumps in thumping music that you might want as background for a weight-lifting class at the gym, rather than for dining. I am sure there is a metric that tells restaurants and bars that people drink more if they can't hear themselves think. Personally, I find it offensive. If I could have done, I'd have changed the selection and turned down the volume.”

“I have dined here multiple times. It is always an elevated experience. Cora Cora is a good introduction to Peruvian food. Some of the dishes have adjusted flavor profiles and others are firmly rooted in their origin. A good place for newcomers to enjoy their first dive into Peruvian cooking.”

My son ordered the Smoked Salmon Potato Pancakes and I had the Stuffed cabbage (ground chicken with a mushroom gravy), Kielbasa, Pierogi and Beets. Everything was delicious! “This is by far the best pizza in southington ct! When we moved here, we were looking for good pizza in Southington and we stumbled upon them. Not only were they the closest pizza near me in southington, they were out favorite after trying a few. The owners are so so sweet too. Try their chicken parm, salads and grinders as well. “Sal worked with us for my grandsons baptism party. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Lemon chicken was amazing. Roasted vegetables with hot peppers, WOW! Roasted potatoes, fantastic! “Attention all vegetarians: yes yes and yes lol. The food was delicious. So many vegetarian options. I had the falafel gyro and loaded fries. One dish is plenty, but I had to try both. Oh and their tzatziki sauce is out of this world! Best I’ve ever had.This place would be perfect if it had more of a restaurant vibe and less like a fast food set up. But definitely worth a try. “We hosted our daughter's confirmation party/dinner here and let me just say, the quality of service began 2 weeks ago when I called to check for availability. Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was more than accommodative to all our requests and made it feel casual that it took the worry out of organizing an event. We were a party of 25. Chris called the day of, to confirm our reservation. We got delayed an hour after the ceremony so I called them and they told us to take our time and that everything was set for us. I even called them 15mins before the crowd got there to put some appetizers in which they took care of seamlessly. Christine was well informed of our party and handled it smoothly. Stan was amazing. He came up to us in the beginning and advised of the modified order. He split the appetizers evenly among the three tables and even downsized some of the orders for us. Nancy was our waitress and she was an absolute machine, never missing a beat, constantly smiling and incredibly successful looking after our entire party. We ordered the flatbreads, garlic cheese bread, pan fried risotto balls and a few Cesar salads for appetizers for each of the tables. The food was top notch, on par with the service. Everyone ordered their own meals and the drinks were excellent too. I ordered the New York strip, medium rare, and the accompanying bacon and onion chutney was a fantastic pairing. I had a salute75 which was one of the best gin martinis I've tried in a very long time, followed by an old fashioned and finished with an Irish coffee. Nancy was always open to requests taking photos and Christine even took a photo of the whole group at the end standing by the Salute wall. We were genuinely looked after like family. It's a modern look inside with a view of the kitchen, not particularly luxurious but simple and elegant with good lighting. Highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be going back. Great job Chris, Christine, Stan and Nancy and kudos to the Salute team working in the background to make this place the best meal and service package experience.”

“Really cool building. We'll Lite interior with lots of seating space. Food options on the lunch menu had something for every appetite. We ate the boa buns, onion soup , steak sandwich and the Cuban. All dishes were amazing and really well balanced. Can't wait to come back sometime for dinner and a cocktail! Also, wait staff we're very polite and enthusiastic about the restaurants mission.”

“My wife and I had our first dinner at Vinted Wine Bar tonight. My wife has had a good amount of experience at Vinted, but it was my first time there. Top to bottom... TRULY EXCELLENT!! We shared a nice bottle of Daou Cab while sitting at the bar, and started with the Whipped Hummus, with Crispy Scallion Cake. Best Hummus you'll ever eat, and the warm crispy thin cake slices are very delicious with the Hummus. Terrific! Then we split and shared 2 entrees: The Chicken Milanese, and the Vinted Prime Burger. Both, also super delicious. Rich, flavorful, perfectly prepared by the talented crew in the kitchen lead by the executive chef, and partner, Mike Voight. Ate every bite of everything. Lastly, for desert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Holy cow, that is one incredible desert. Our bartender Chris was very helpful, friendly, and although busy had time to talk with us. And we found all the staff, extremely personable. Mike has a finely tuned ship in Vinted. We'll be back. #impressed”
