Cash only place. Food was pretty good. The pickles....omg ask for extra pickles on the side, they're phenomenal!!! You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth the experience
Manchester is my home town but I live 2000 miles away, but e when I return home I try to hit Shady Glen. SG is renown for its cheeseburgers and ice cream. Those are completely great choices, for sure, but I go down-menu for a scallop platter or whole belly clams. I get their fries and Cole slaw whenever I can. My mom accompanied me this trip, and just ordered French fries and Cole slaw, with a half-gallon of chocolate chip ice cream. I can't argue with those selections. Perfect....read full review

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Cheeseburger was absolutely phenomenal and the service was exceptional! The coffee and the ice cream were fantastic as well. Can't wait to come back.
