“This is one of my favorite places!! The food and drinks are amazing — the chopped salad is my go-to! They have tons of classes for all ages on top of being able to pop in and paint something any day of the week. They also have a small business market one weekend a month May-October with tons of awesome small businesses including jewelry, pottery, floral designs, stickers, paintings, soaps, teas and tinctures, permanent jewelry, clothing, candles and so much more. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Firestone. It’s one of a kind!!!♥️”

“I went to this place a few weeks back, and I'm only getting to post about it now. I can't recommend this place enough! I ordered the one meat combo with brisket, cornbread, and baked BBQ means. It was all fantastic! The brisket was so tender that sometimes forking it alone would have it come apart. One bite filled my mouth with heavenly smokey meaty flavor. This place does BBQ brisket the right way, and it's a higher quality brisket than other well known BBQ spots nearby. The cornbread was crumbly and delicious. Exactly what you'd want out of cornbread, nothing more to say here! The beans were savory and satisfying and cooked just right. They paired very nicely with my brisket. I made sure to dump all the tiny tender leftover pieces of brisket into the beans. What a delicious combo that was! If you want to impress your friends with a great takeout BBQ place, this is the spot. It's worth the ride. For a takeout place it really has the right vibe. Soulful music playing, open kitchen setup so you know what you're getting, friendly customer service! The only thing I'd love to see from this place is some additional sauces. Although the quality of meat is so great, no sauce is required, but it's always nice to have on the side. Something spicy would pair really well with this savory tender smokey brisket. The BBQ sauce that they do have is delicious though.”

They gave our appetizer to the wrong table in error and the owner came right over and gave us another on the house. Food was delicious. And ate every bit. “Our servers were terrific. One was in training. A real turnoff, though, was the fact that certain people were not made to pull back their hair. One sat us, playing with her long hair, and the other one went around checking each table to see if we were doing ok. All the other servers, sitters, bar tenders, and bus people did their hair back. These two need to be watched. I'm pretty sure in some states it's part of a law. I would like you to speak to them. Everything else was fine. We will return but next time I will ask to see a manager.”

“They brought our food first before our soup and salad, we asked for the manager it took a long time we walked out this was the second time I had this experience in this place The service here is not good. We went back there again in the middle of September of 2021, this time we got a better service. We are back in November of 2022 and service is much better. In March 2024 is all good”

“Great value for the money. Portion sizes when it comes to slices are larger than most other pizza joints. Flavors are on point. My three year old loves the cheese slices and totally eats 2 slices on Fridays as a treat after a whole week of eating regular food. I love that I can get what toppings I want on my slices. Great joint, unpretentious, consistent with great hours. Parking is my only concern as there is not an abundance of it.”

“Ordered food New Year's Eve, today. Steak and chicken teriyaki were so over cooked and dry. Crab rangoon, most had very little filling. Lomein had clearly been there for a long time. Will never order from there again. 2/10/24, I tried this place again. I arrived there at 12:20 pm. A Saturday. Was surprised that the chicken and beef were tender and not dried out. Lomein was good, shrimp was tender. I suspect that it may be because it was early in the day. Crab ragoon could always use more filling. Was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed everything. And it was my 60 something birthday.”

You'll get no broken promises from CJ's Pizza and Giant Grinders, because their grinders sure do deliver on your expectations. They have 25 different grinders that truly are GIANT and sold in half ($9ish) or whole ($17-$19ish) sizes. Grinders are served with Lettuce, Tomatoes and Cheese, with Peppers and Onions by request. I stopped by for two "half sized" grinders yesterday, a Giant Ham and Provolone with lettuce, tomato, and onions, and an equally Giant Italian Combo with lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, and jalapenos. The portions were huge. The half grinders are quite big and are piled very high with the goods, so a half of the half will be enough for a great meal. Our two sandwiches ran around $23 after the extras and tax, but we are getting 4 meals out of that $23. They also sell pizzas and some very nice salad varieties and pasta dinners with sausage and meatballs. It's a very nice old school pizza/grinder joint and the folks I interacted with were super friendly and welcoming.”

We all agreed with this sentiment.AMBIENCE: The ambience is electrifying. Everyone is enjoying themselves. I loved the set out of plenty of sitting in the large area and then the sofas on the other side. Its perfect for large groups.BEER & FOOD: The drinks variety are plentiful. There is a beer for everyone. I love their prices as I have gone to many brewery and the beer prices are much balanced here. On this day they even have beers at $3 dollars. So if you are on a budget, you have choices. I have to talk about the food. I have to say that yes its mainly bar food but OMG everything is done RIGHT. I mean it. Everyone in my group agreed that the choices were great and quality was amazing. We were extremely surprised with their eggplant fries which some in the group don’t like eggplants and were LIKE WHAT?? Yes they loved it. We had the following items in their menu; sweet potatoes waffles; Philly eggrolls; chicken bites, eggplant fries, wings, sweet heat.EVENT: On this day they had live music on the down stairs and DJ upstairs. I love them both. We left almost at 1am after dancing and singing with strangers that were all there to have fun. I love that they had plenty of security presence everywhere. This is highly important to me and it gave me a sense of safety and responsibility from the staff. My friends all loved it and thought the only bad thing is how far they are from us.STAFF and ORDERING: Here I thought they had excellent ordering system and process. They have a great set up with at least 6 cashier registers to dispense your drink orders. On the other side they have about 2 registers for food ordering. Everything is very modern and easy to order. You get a buzzer, get a table and then pick up your food a few minutes later.So come on over and experience what a great brewery looks like. Loved every minute here and hope to be back soon.”

“Manchester is my home town but I live 2000 miles away, but e when I return home I try to hit Shady Glen. SG is renown for its cheeseburgers and ice cream. Those are completely great choices, for sure, but I go down-menu for a scallop platter or whole belly clams. I get their fries and Cole slaw whenever I can. My mom accompanied me this trip, and just ordered French fries and Cole slaw, with a half-gallon of chocolate chip ice cream. I can't argue with those selections. Perfect. I got a hot fudge sundae with mint chocolate chip, scratching a childhood era itch. I love this place.”

“An absolute gem on the main drag in Manchester (not the mall area!) We came in at 5:30 on a Friday and we’re greeted right away. The drinks we tried were both fantastic. We ordered the Brussels sprouts app (my wife loves them, me not so much) and ended up cleaning that plate. We both did salads for dinner. Steak for the wife and I grabbed the cheeseburger salad and some wedge fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Dinner for two with an app and two drinks was priced well. The server was polite and timed her table visits just right. Don’t sleep on this one.”

“My wife and I have been going here since we started dating 8 years ago. It's not a big place, but the food they serve is absolutely top tier. I'd say it's a hidden gem, but everytime I go there I see someone I know from highschool or a previous employer. It appears it's a well known fact that there's no where else to get better sushi in the Manchester area. Bigger and fancier places have come and gone, but Hana stands because of the quality and care they put into each meal. If you haven't tried them, I promise you're missing out.”

“We've done dine-in and pick-up at the Manchester, CT location multiple times. We love this place. The food is consistently delicious no matter what is ordered or how it's ordered. I love dining in because it's so bright with natural light, and it smells amazing as only Italian pizzerias can. The service is friendly whether it's extremely busy or you're lucky enough to catch them at a time when it's light service.Orders can be made online or over the phone for pick-up. They have an app too, with coupons. Very convenient.”

The welcome him and makes him feel like home. The manager told me the father to bring him all the time. The price and services are excellent. They promise to be fully stocked up to about 2 p.m., but that does not help the "after work" crowd.Hoping they can find supply soon.”

“We've done dine-in and pick-up at the Manchester, CT location multiple times. We love this place. The food is consistently delicious no matter what is ordered or how it's ordered. I love dining in because it's so bright with natural light, and it smells amazing as only Italian pizzerias can. The service is friendly whether it's extremely busy or you're lucky enough to catch them at a time when it's light service.Orders can be made online or over the phone for pick-up. They have an app too, with coupons. Very convenient.”

You'll get no broken promises from CJ's Pizza and Giant Grinders, because their grinders sure do deliver on your expectations. They have 25 different grinders that truly are GIANT and sold in half ($9ish) or whole ($17-$19ish) sizes. Grinders are served with Lettuce, Tomatoes and Cheese, with Peppers and Onions by request. I stopped by for two "half sized" grinders yesterday, a Giant Ham and Provolone with lettuce, tomato, and onions, and an equally Giant Italian Combo with lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, and jalapenos. The portions were huge. The half grinders are quite big and are piled very high with the goods, so a half of the half will be enough for a great meal. Our two sandwiches ran around $23 after the extras and tax, but we are getting 4 meals out of that $23. They also sell pizzas and some very nice salad varieties and pasta dinners with sausage and meatballs. It's a very nice old school pizza/grinder joint and the folks I interacted with were super friendly and welcoming.”

“Manchester is my home town but I live 2000 miles away, but e when I return home I try to hit Shady Glen. SG is renown for its cheeseburgers and ice cream. Those are completely great choices, for sure, but I go down-menu for a scallop platter or whole belly clams. I get their fries and Cole slaw whenever I can. My mom accompanied me this trip, and just ordered French fries and Cole slaw, with a half-gallon of chocolate chip ice cream. I can't argue with those selections. Perfect. I got a hot fudge sundae with mint chocolate chip, scratching a childhood era itch. I love this place.”

“The food is good, the prices are what you’d expect to pay for good food, and I love what they did with the interior. If I could just make one suggestion it would be to make your signage more accurate, on the chalk board it says “10% off if you like the Facebook page”, so upon picking up my takeout order I showed them I liked the page but was informed it was for dine-in only. It would make sense to just add (dine-in only) on the sign if you’re advertising that deal. But otherwise great place and will be back”

There was an error with my order , and without hesistation he made the corrections and apologized for the mistake, remained courteous and kept his composure despite having multiple customers to take care of at once. Hes a major reason my family chooses take out there often, makes the environment way better!”
