“Went here for dinner and had a very nice time. The food was great and so was the service. I'll definitely go back again!Parking: Google maps took me only to the entrance of the golf club. The restaurant is beyond that, up a well-lit driveway with a large parking area at the top.“

“Wow, so yummy! Checked this place out after work tonight. Got the beef and cheese and empanada taco and the chorizo empanada taco and they were so delicious. The green sauce on the side was Yum! So fresh. I'm not sure if it was the owner or not but the man and woman at the front were both very friendly and helpful. The food was done quick. I only waited a few minutes.“

“Ok, so that was delicious.I saw the ad on that big ol' book of faces for a lobster roll meal priced at $17. Right on rt6 in Andover. Hey, I know that place. I must've driven by 1000 times. They've been there for decades, right? Needless to say, my interest was piqued. 17 bucks is pretty inexpensive for a ct lobster roll. So, pointed the trusty Accord east. Within minutes, i was there & within minutes after that I held in my hands a buttery, velvety rich delicious CT-Style Lobster Roll. A buttery grilled hot dog bun, topped with what looked like half a lobster; one claw, about a half-tail meat & smaller, more delicate picked buttery meats. The whole thing was doused in more clarified butter. Did I mention it was buttery?...soooo buttery. To cut the richness, the roll is accompanied by a small plastic ramekin of rather non-descript, yet perfectly adequate creamy mildly sweet/vinegary cole slaw & a small bag of Lay's original Potato chips. This is a pretty decent lunch-time meal for about the same price as.the so-called birthday meal at that large McCorporate place. The price on that was absurd & really made me Grimace. ... Not Tom's Place, though! Sat under some nice shady trees at the provided picnic tables next to a place where Rochambeau used to hang out. I enjoyed good eats at a classic roadside stand. Highly recommend.Parking: plenty of room for r/v or rig.“

“Excellent food and service! Went last minute for dinner on Saturday night. It was an hour wait, but they have a large waiting area with tables where you can sit and enjoy drinks and apps. Ricotta appetizer was to die for. Also loved my entree...Amish Chicken.“

“Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the loaded potato chips and the Brit burger. The staff is friendly, the drinks are perfect and everything is reasonably priced (especially here in 2022). Did i mention the view from the patio is beautiful? This restaurant is a must taste!“

“This place is a hidden gem. Food is always good. Service is fantastic -- K, K and A are always awesome! This is a great spot in the summer when the deck is open to have a drink or appetizer outside.I also have to give ten stars to their Winter Brunch menu -- we went here just the past weekend and it was hands down the BEST brunch we've ever had in town or when traveling. Everything was excellent -- highly recommend the frenched toast. My husband said the Bacon Egg and Cheese he had was the best ever. They are doing it all right!“

“An absolute gem on the main drag in Manchester (not the mall area!) We came in at 5:30 on a Friday and we’re greeted right away. The drinks we tried were both fantastic. We ordered the Brussels sprouts app (my wife loves them, me not so much) and ended up cleaning that plate. We both did salads for dinner. Steak for the wife and I grabbed the cheeseburger salad and some wedge fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Dinner for two with an app and two drinks was priced well. The server was polite and timed her table visits just right. Don’t sleep on this one.“

“My first visit to this restaurant was a delightful surprise orchestrated by my husband for my birthday. We were seated upstairs, but upon exploring downstairs to the tavern area, we immediately decided that our next visit would definitely be spent there. Recently, I organized a girls' night out and made a reservation for the tavern, and it exceeded all expectations. The evening kicked off with a perfectly crafted dirty martini that set the tone for what was to come. The wine selection by the glass offered an array of choices, which was greatly appreciated. Our meal selections were varied yet equally impressive: I opted for the salmon with risotto, Rachel savored their chicken dish, Danielle indulged in the burger, while Dev enjoyed the flatbread. Our appetizer of Brussels sprouts was nothing short of exquisite.Throughout the evening, our waiter provided impeccable service, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. I couldn't help but express to him that if the restaurant were closer than 25 minutes away, it would undoubtedly become our regular haunt. He was consistently attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and always being a few steps ahead of us.Overall, our experience at this restaurant, particularly in the tavern, was nothing short of spectacular. From the drinks to the cuisine to the exceptional service, it left a lasting impression, making it a place we'll eagerly return to whenever the opportunity arises.“
“We are a group of eight Women golfers that travel each week to play a different course in CT. Get the usual eye rolling looks from the men from parking lot, pro shop to the course and finally the bar. Some men are polite but they are few. Quarry Ridge staff went over the top to make our Tuesday golf experience relaxing and fun. Course was in good shape. Kevin in the pro shop attentive asking questions after our round to see if we had a good time and what were our thoughts about women’s golf. Poor Kevin got a earful I’m afraid. He was such a good sport! The chef came out and checked on our lunch. Talked about his menu. Very enthusiastic. It was a perfect day Tuesday Blue sky, cool temps, Great Golf and being with friends. Thank you to all the staff at Quarry Ridge. You will see us all again. Keep up the great work of making women feel valued in the sport of golf. Kindest Regards, Kathy Mroczka“

“Had a lovely lunch with a friend, both of us who wanted to try something different than the restaurants in our home towns in the Hartford area. I had been to Saddler's Ordinary years ago, but saw the great reviews and ratings so we decided to try it. The food was delicious - we shared two items from the Specials menu, the service was great, we were able to sit a long time catching up on news, and then we both bought bread to take home from the bakery counter at the entrance. I want to go back again to try some of the other items on the menu - all looked so good.“
