Me and my daughter loved the atmosphere and we were lucky to come in while live Polish band was playing. Such a fun place with great food. “The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very nice. The seating feels like being in a living room of a home in Middle East, cozy and welcoming. I just think that it would be best if the tables were a little higher and if they turn the TV on or play some music to break the silence because it doesn't feel like you can have private talk when it's dead silence. I suggest something like a soft music may be with a show of Middle East paysage.”

“I made a reservation here on a Saturday for a date night with my wife and we had a great time. The atmosphere was cool. The service and food were all very good. (We had Cuban Sliders, Calamari and loaded plantain nachos). It was nice to have a unique restaurant experience for a change. It’s the type of place that everyone in the area should do at least once.”

“I visited on a Wednesday which is open mic. The bar is spacious with an outdoor patio which is a nice amenity. It was not very crowded and no one was really paying attention to the show. I felt bad for the comedians. I ordered the special appetizer which was nachos and empanadas. The empanadas were very good but the beef nachos not so great. I always order beef nachos and it comes with ground beef. These had little hunks of something that I guess was beef it just wasn't very appealing. The bartender Kat was attentive & friendly I met some nice people there. My review is mixed today but I will go back.”

“Picked up lunch today and brought it home. Excellent food! The goobkwr was outstanding and hubby loves the jalapeno popper dog. Also got Mac & cheese and the baked beans which I highly recommend and of course the salty balls. Had to also get the T-shirt too. Best food in the area. Makes me miss summer cookouts and was a nice break for all the holiday craziness and foods.”

“Honestly, I was there about 3 years ago and food was excellent but service was bad, because no coffee refills....Fast forward to yesterday....MUCH improved ?. Had 4 refills on coffee, bacon was cooked ON POINT, well done just as I like. Home fries were nice and tender too. Service excellent. I enjoy stopping there when my car is being worked on across the street. I no longer live in Central part of CT but my when car needs repairs, I will return to CJ s for a bite to eat!”

“The Assembly Room is New Britain's first food hall. This is located in downtown New Britain. Parking can be found at various garages. We happened to find this place by chance because we were at the Celebrate New Britain event. The interior was spacious, clean, and inviting. There were plenty of seating, tables, and couches. A pool table is available for use. The service, collectively, was great. First, we got coffee at Froth Cafe. Then we imbibed on some drinks at The Bar. If you're hungry, they have a few vendors serving up some delicious food:

Loko Burrito: delicious Mexican fare
Las Tortas MX: also delicious Mexican fare
Fowl Play: fried chicken spot. I've had food from their Parkville location and it was delicious.

Event space is also available to rent; $375 room minimum (not including food and drinks.) All in all, it's a fun place to eat, drink, and hangout.”

“There is a decent sized hall to rent here. I have attended a variety of functions here over the years.
It is also my local polling location during the election season where locally, one would go vote in either a primary or perhaps a general election.
Either way, I suspect renting this facility helps our veterans, and that is always a good thing in my book.
There is usually plenty of parking at the rear of the building and this is also where to enter the hall from.
