“Came here a few times and food was great! The service the other times were about a 6/10 but it was busier. Today we came for brunch and we received exceptional service! Taisha was a friendly and a super attentive bartender. We loved her! Wilson the cook was dope as well! I like my wings abnormally well done and the cook came out to ask me how I wanted them. He was so nice! The music is a vibe too! I loved the staff, they made our experience a 10/10!!! Ps- blue cheese dressing is fire as is the Rasta pasta- everything fresh and homemade! Unlimited mimosas for $20 and Tasha kept them coming! 10/10 for today ?“

“love a good Gastro pub and Union Kitchen did not disappoint. Truly wonderful and friendly staff. genuinely nice people which is a refreshing surprise. The food was excellent. Stuffed Queen Olives and Whipped Ricotta toast were incredible. main courses Shrimp and Scallop risotto and the Lobster Rigstoni arrabbiata could stand up to some of the best italian and seafood restaurants. Atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. would definitely visit again.“

“OSA is hands down the best restaurant in CT. Everything about this place is 11 out of 10. The service is impeccable, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks are out of this world. The food is like nothing else. We had the ricotta and it was bursting with flavor. Honey, salt, roasted garlic and chives with sourdough. Yum. I had the 15 day aged corned beef and it was hands down the best I’ve had ever and I’m a Harp! Bartender as always is the best he’s always angling for you to try one of his libations and he won’t let you go till you do: OSA is the best CT restaurant. “First time here and my husband and I TRULY enjoyed it crystal was AMAZING, and patient and helpful, along with everyone else! Bill the owner was sweet, kind, and humble. “Come for the great beer selection and enjoy the food and positive atmosphere. The deviled eggs were deliciously different. I had the cobb salad with chicken which was fantastic. My daughter has the tenders which appeared hand made versus prepackaged, excellent. My wife had a burger that was juicy and made to her specifications. “With warm weather in June, we sat outside on The Oak Patio to watch musician Timmy Maia cover well-known songs. The Oak Patio serves the TimeOut Sports & Pizza Bar menu which includes usual pub fare such as burgers, gourmet pizza, appetizers, salads and sandwiches plus a few high end dinners. Full bar with craft beers in addition to a good selection of wine. Arrive early if you want to sit in the comfortable sectional and seatings in front of the stage inside the fenced in area. Our friends got there an hour before the show and we still could only be seated at a table for four outside the fence, which allows diners to see the entertainment but through the iron bars.All of our food and drinks were very good and served in a timely manner: coconut shrimp, calamari and nachos for starters. Kobe burger with bacon and fried egg; French dip handheld sandwich with sliced beef, cheddar and au jus; Jerry Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni.My partner, an old friend of Timmy's wanted to say hi during intermission so we went through the lobby of the Doubletree hotel by Hilton Hotel where this venue is located in Bristol, and went inside the enclosure so they could shake hands, catch up and take some photos. It's a nice place to get out and have a meal with or without a band. There's a lot of greenery, palms, plants and white lights under a white tented roof for the enclosed main area.“

“One of the best in SouthingtonI truly love this restaurant, with it’s rotating menu and beautiful building it’s my go to for dinner in Southington.ATMOSPHEREThe building is set in downtown Southington among numerous other bars and restaurants and even a brewery (WitchDoctor Brewing Company). The outside is well labeled from the street and parking is available around back. The inside has an industrial/rustic feel which makes sense as it takes its name from an old forging company in the area. I consider the dress to be smart casual, but nobody is going to be turned away for their outfit.SERVICEI have never had a single issue with the service at Ideal Tavern, the wait staff is always very attentive and friendly. I have not interacted very much with the bar staff, but I have never gotten an incorrect drink, so they must be good!FOODNow for the important part, the food! Ideal runs a rotating menu that changes with the season, they try to source ingredients locally, so the rotating menu is a necessity. The ingredients always taste fresh and the chefs know how to put it all together. The one complaint I would have is that some nights the dishes can be a little saltier than normal. Since the menu is rotating it’s hard to recommend items but if they have them the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and “Ideal” Nachos are excellent appetizers, the Ideal Burger is delicious and unique with it’s egg and truffle aioli, and the Braised Short Ribs are extremely rich, almost to the point of hard to finish in one sitting.DRINKSIdeal has a great rotating tap list that always seems to have a good selection of every type of beer. Although I have not tried any of their cocktails they have a massive selection of classics and custom drinks.“

“Visiting Connecticut from Texas for work.Every where I go and if they have Wings, then I get them.. i had mild Buffalo,fries, (both were good) and sweet tea, which was bad. It tasted like it was brewed in same pot as coffee.I had a side of Buffalo hot and that was GOOD. It had a little kick, but then it went away, but has good flavor with Wings and fries..“
