OK - as in my other ice cream reviews, five criteria, 5 points each:1. Taste - flavors are strong and vibrant, no taste of alcohol or extracts. Tastes like good Italian gelato. Straciatella in particular is notable. 5 pts2. Flavor choice - generally around 20 flavors including sorbets at any one time. The right mix of basics and some more Italian specialties. Food : 1000/10 Service: 1000/10 Ambiance: 1000/10 What an amazing coffee/ gelato shop. The gelato is so fresh and seriously authentic. There is no other way to put it. I love it here, cannot go wrong with anything. Feel free to taste almost any flavor before making your final selections. The portion size is perfect and is reasonably priced for authentic gelato in US.

Tasty gelato. Nice variety of flavors. Price is as expected for New Canaan.Staff were young, but attentive. Only has a few small tables inside. Seems primarily set up to have you take your treat and go. But they also serve coffee, espresso, americano, and a nice affogato, and will give you a proper cup if you tell them you are ‘eating in.’Note: Tips are cash only.
