We had a delicious breakfast here. A light and fluffy mushroom and Gruyère omelette and a breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese, potatoes, and chipotle mayo. Will come here again the next time we're in New Haven.

Been here several times. I want to try other delights, but I'm stuck on their truffle grilled cheese and turkey sandwich with cranberry aioli. Soooo good! Not for those counting calories, but this is so worth the buttery creamy goodness...

The list of specials caught my eye as I was walking down the street. Decided to pop in on my way back for a quick bite to go....it's a great little spot in New Haven. Food was fresh and flavorful. Service was great as well! I will definitely be back!

CBH is a nice quick stop for a fresh and hearty breakfast or brunch. I'm a fan of the cauliflower chipotle tacos, and the steak and eggs look tasty as well. Everything we have tried is well-seasoned, without feeling heavy. Since their indoor seating is pretty minimal, this is more of a to-go spot. They also have limited hours, so be sure to check ahead of time. Worth a visit if you work or live in the area!

First time trying and the food is bomb af! Comfort food lunch was exactly what the doctor ordered, today. Cured my hangover and gave me the strength to clean my house. Bless y'all ?~a fellow line cook ?

Just had their breakfast burrito and this is quite possibly the BEST breakfast burrito in New Haven! They are texas-sized and loaded with egg, meat and potatoes and cheese. Perfect hangover food. Definitely coming back here to try other stuff on the menu.

Amazing! I tried their breakfast burrito and it was great. Perfect for breakfast and filling. You can probably eat on half and the other for lunch, but I decided to overindulge and eat the other half on the spot.

First time order based off the good reviews. And the reviews were spot on! These sandwiches were amazing. I said wow a few times while eating. The attention to detail and taste is why I'll be ordering again.

The food absolutely hit. Had a chipotle chicken grilled cheese when I was hung over af. I was reborn. So good. The actually shop is a little dated but that doesn't rly bother me

Came across CFH on doordash and we wanted to try something different. So glad we did!! The truffle grilled cheese was hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu!!

I went there last week and the sandwiches were quite tasteless but greasy. Do not recommend. There are better sandwich places in NH for the price

Their food is so good I ordered takeout 2 days in a row. First day was lunch and the second day I ordered breakfast and got a salad for lunch. Everything is delicious.

My visit to New Haven's CBH cafe came as a hurricane was just starting to bear down on Connecticut, and this little breakfast and lunch joint was pretty much the only place open. I ordered the gruyere and mushroom truffle omelette, and it was without a doubt the finest I have ever tasted. The French Toast had a "nice, buttery grill on it. Decadent, with a satisfying cinnamon crunch"--this according to my parents who ordered it. (I tried it and can verify it's deliciousness beyond a doubt.) The price turned out to be $54 for my family of four, with the average entree being priced at about $9. While this isn't cheap by any means, the creative menu and quality ingredients here more than justify the price.

Overall we were impressed with our food - the Mac and cheese was delicious and so was the chocolate French toast but the short rib sandwich was very greasy.
