Went for early Sunday Brunch - for the first time there - and it was everything I'd hoped it would be: relatively quiet, super friendly and attentive staff, delicious food (salad dressing was amazing!) and overall a really great meal with my daughter. Highly recommend. We will be back for dinner!

We were delighted to discover Florian's wonderful brunch menu. Excellent blueberry pancakes and eggs Benedict along with other terrific options. Our server was energetic and very helpful. We found our new favorite brunch place steps from Yale campus.

What a hidden gem. We went to Atelier Florian for brunch on New Years eve. We wanted to try a new place and we were not disappointed. My 2 boys had what they considered "the best waffles ever". My wife and I equally had great meals with her going for the breakfast sandwich and I opted for the croque monsieur. We also had to get some mussels and chose to try the white wine variant. They were delicious and I now want to give the other flavors a try. Overall, a great experience and we are looking forward to going there for dinner soon.

Loved the aesthetic of the space, the floor and set up felt classic to an old building in New Haven. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service. The oysters were amazing and they made us homemade cocktail sauce. Definitely get the mussels and frites, delicious and a large portion.

There was a private group party upstairs when we arrived that was making a huge amount of noise, enough that we couldn't hear each other across the table. We asked the staff if they could ask them to turn down the music in the hope that the talking volume would also decrease, and they obliged. Shortly thereafter the group broke up and many came downstairs. There was still noise but it was tolerable. The mussels were very good, and the service was excellent.

After we ordered, our server came back to tell us that one of the main courses was not available. While we were finishing up our main course, the server brought the check (though we had not requested it) and never asked if we'd like dessert or coffee. We asked another server for three coffees and after a wait, they returned with three lukewarm espressos. Just not a good experience overall

We wanted to try out Atelier Florián for Restaurant Week and we're very happy we did. The food was great and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed the ambiance and overall look of the restaurant. It was cozy and sophisticated vibes and I would love to come back to try other items off the menu or even brunch perhaps one day.

We had a very nice dinner. Food was superb and arrived promptly. Only drawback... drinks were slow. I guess the bar was backed up, which was odd as the restaurant was not crowded. In any event, an overall positive experience. We will be back.

Lovely little bistro in New Haven. I loved the salmon with risotto, calamari appetizer and the pepper appetizer. They had a full bar and a wide variety of cocktails. The atmosphere was charming French bistro white tiles, and banquettes. The wait staff was kind and made the evening fun. I had dinner with my family.

We thought the lobster roll which was a bun was just ok for $40. The happy hour menu for fried calamari and drinks were a good value. The salmon was good. Overall, it was decent, but not something I'd try hard to get in. It's not bad, but nothing spectacular either. They could have really made an effort on the lobster rolls, the most expensive item on their menu. (3 of us ordered it and was meh.)

My wife and I had an excellent time, the background music was such that we could sustain a conversation without any effort, but the food was delicious, we had the Black Ink Seafood Pasta, which was to die for. The appetizers were good, in summary, we had a wonderful evening at Atelier Florian. For sure, we will come back.

Quiet, calm atmosphere tastefully decorated. Service was excellent! Food was very good. I had the mussels which were plentiful but very little broth and it was way at the bottom of the bowl. The other dishes were tasty as well. I would highly recommend for a romantic setting or just an enjoyable evening out.

While the food was good, the appetizer (Chèvre) was sorely disappointing. The service was great. The drinks were very good. I had steak (cooked as to the order) and my spouse had fish and chips. Although fish and chips was served with what appeared to be a lemon twist (very tiny) others were brought in short order for the fish. The environment was very casual and quiet. The restaurant was small and intimate resulting in a quiet dinner environment where conversation was easy to maintain.

Had a great meal here a few years ago but everything was wrong now with dishes coming in wrong sequence (oysters last?) And sound system kept blaring commercials, staff were nice but not getting it right (took my beer bottle before it was empty, brought check without asking about coffee and dessert). Food was okay but not what I remember in quality. Made us not want to come back.
