The atmosphere here is too pretentious to black people, not POC. The security guard is way too aggressive unnecessarily. I made a mistake thinking the basement was open due to the ingress and egress of other people. But it wasn't and his reaction to me compared to the white girls was segregated. Treat me as equal. Tell everyone to move, not just me and my crew. Also, people here are not friendly. Tried chatting with some folk and I felt bad for speaking. Just a weird vibe and not being from here.

drag shows are wonderful but other that the regular saturday nights sound like a lego movie set, the music is so outdated and the venue has yet to book a better dj. Failing the community.

Cute, but the crowd is definitely college people. We came here two nights in a row and the first night the drag show was really weird and felt culty and the drag queen asked people to pick up all their tips. The dj had good songs but the circuit party beats he was doing for this small place was not it and the played the same the following night. We got bored really quick with this music and wanted to leave. The bartenders were really friendly and drinks were good.

My friends and I have been to this place a couple times in the past. Today he asked us for our IDs for the first time. He was rude and upset about having to service us from the begining. We provided him with our ID and he said we had fake IDs. Which was a lie since we have been there before. This person seemed to be under the influence of alcohol or some other substance.

This was my first time going to a gay club/bar. I was drugged and went to the ER. After months of recovering and investigation I found out the perpetrator was a regular and known person on the queer scene in New haven. Keep your drinks with you at all times and be careful

Whenever I go to New Haven, I make sure to stop at Partners. It's a staple of the community and I have so many wonderful memories attached to this building. Make sure to check out the BiP mural outside!

Partners is my favorite bar in New Haven hands down. No cover fee and the bouncer is a cutie! There’s nothing like striking up a conversation and making new friends at the downstairs bar to start off the night. The bartenders are always willing to give drink recommendations and the when it’s time to head upstairs, you know the queens are about to put on a killer show! This is the place to dance freely, meet new friends, and leave judgement at the door.

My friends and I went out to Partners a couple of times over the past few months and we've had great experiences. We've always gone on Friday nights, so we got to watch the various performances that have gone on. Not only are those a blast, but the music for dancing is also pretty good. The bartenders have always been kind and efficient when we've interacted with them. We will definitely be coming back here on our nights out.

The worst and most unfriendly staff. I would make a joke and say they didn't let me in because I'm straight. ( I am an ally :) ) but on a serious note the owner was so mean and did not let me in with my ID he said it was " too confusing" and that he didn't want me at his bar?! As a fellow business connoisseur, the best way to market your brand and or business is the people who go and rely their experience to others. Very disappointed. Definitely won't recommend this inadequate, unwelcoming bar. In a different class, the people I've met at this bar have been wonderful. Still doesn't justify the horrible staff Also let an underage guy in 2 people in front of me.
