I need to eat fast and cheap to go back to work. I was going to Chipotle but decided to walk an extra block, and that was an amazing decision.Similar price but much better benefit. The food is delicious, and fresh. I was afraid that the “mild” option was going to be very spicy, but it was not. A ordered a mango smoothie just in case. And was simply delicious.
I was just thinking to myself how much I missed tikkaway. This is very very close. Really good! I had the rice bowl with chicken and madras sauce, and 1 samosa. Flavorful, filling, well done!

This place is the best! I order here often as I work around the corner and the food is always seasoned to absolute perfection, as well as having really solid portion sizes. Wow tikka will have you saying Wow with great service and awesome delicious food

Easy and fast Indian food and one of the restaurants that I am glad I picked last minute. The staff is friendly and very understanding. I chose this one place for a takeout and when I placed the order online I did not realize that I ordered at their location in MA. After I called the restaurant they transferred my order to the New Haven location and the execution of the order was quick and accurate. The food is good and an easy grab and go kinda setup which I really enjoyed. I'd go back to Wow Tikka again.

I love the idea of making my own bowl of Indian food yummyness. All three rice options are good. We tried the biryani rice for the first time and it was a winner. It made a difference even through the toppings and sauce.We have tried most of the proteins and they all make us happy. There are so many great toppings it is hard to imagine people not being able to put together a hearty bowl of food here.Finally, the sauces. They are all so good. Such a deep flavor and they really bring the whole bowl together.My picky eater requests this place often. We would be weekly regulars if we had one in town.
So glad this place is back. This place might genuinely have the best Vada Pav in the US - and I’m from New Jersey! Service is always 10/10 and the food never disappoints.

Wow is right this place has such wonderful food and selection. I absolutely love the fast casual Indian food concept. Everyone is friendly and it's so quick and not expensive at all. You can mix and match proteins, bases, veggies and sauces. Try the tikka masala mixed with the korma sauce!

A partnership between two established New England restauranteurs, Gopi Nair and Kannan Kesavalu, Wow Tikka is the first expansion of Kesavalu's Boston-based eatery. LOCATION: Wow Tikka is located in the historic Palladium building on Orange Street. CONCEPT: Wow Tikka offers fast, customizable Indian street food and "build your own" bowls/wraps/salads at attractive prices (around $10). Counter orders are taken for take out, or dining at one of the cafe tables. EXPERIENCE: The counter server helped me decide on a combination for a bowl (basmati rice, chicken, and cheese cubes, topped with cashew sauce, grilled onions, corn kernels, and cilantro). The swiftness of preparation, tasty contents, attractive price, and location make Wow Tikka a place to mentally bookmark when visiting downtown New Haven. Limeade and Mango Lassi beverages are available to complement your customized dish.

I had wow tikka for the first time today and I must say it amazing, the food was super flavorful and fresh the price was reasonable and the portions were generous, the staff were super friendly and helpful, i must say I had a Wow experience will definitely be back soon.
