6 of us came here for lunch. Nice view, wanted to like it due to the presentation, layout, and view. Buffalo wings were OK, lobster roll was smaller than expected, burger was nothing special at all3 people In our party of 6 did not prefer fries as sides and waiter voluntarily said we can have a side salad instead. When we received the bill we were each charged for a salad without any disclosure of an upcharge of $4 each. We kindly asked the waiter to see what could be done since this was not disclosed and clearly said we can have a small salad instead. Waiter came back after speaking to manager and said "nothing can be done, that's the cost!".They have lost any return customers out of our group.All in all food was nothing special and do not recommend.

We traveled to this area to visit Connecticut College and wanted a place on the water and we chose On the Waterfront! I think every seat in the place has a great view of the water. We started with clams casino and a house salad and both were delicious. We had Cod Mediterranean and Scallops in a pancetta sauce over pappardelle pasta. The cod was juicy and tasted amazing and the scallops were cooked perfectly in a delicious sauce. Our server was lovely and attentive to all our needs. The only thing that disappointed us was our meals came out and our appetizers were not finished so therefore I did four stars instead of five.

Amazing seafood! Bang bang shrimp and calamari appetizers were excellent. My baked scallops were perfect. Exceptional service… speed, quality, friendly, sincere staff. Huge heart, great views, perfect New England seafood stop. Highly recommended.

We needed last minute reservations for a family event and stumbled upon this place. The staff was amazing getting us a perfect table by the water. Service was fantastic, there were a lot of great choices on the menu and everything we ate was delicious!
