“Cover Two used to be our go to for wings and other good food close to home. The last two experiences were disappointing. We repeatedly have 3 people crammed on a two top with no room for our food and having to place our beverages on the rail on the wall. There were several open tables with slightly more room, but we were simply moved to another two person table after complaining about the lack of space. We ordered two dishes that included marinara sauce on them. Chicken parmigiana and pasta. There was hardly any sauce on either dish. We told the waitress that there wasn’t nearly enough. We were brought two plastic containers with a little more sauce and to our surprise was charged $2 extra for something that should have been included in the entree.”

“Reverie continues to be a top contender for our favorite craft brewery in CT. Today was another great visit…the 5th anniversary of Reverie’s existence. The live music was great, the beer was great, the souvenir pub glasses were great, the staff is always great, and our group of 8 had a great time! As you can see, it is difficult to avoid the word great when speaking about Reverie Brewing! Cheers‼️🍻SBC🍻”

“I have eaten Thai in so many cities all over the world and honestly, this is the best Thai food I've ever had. I recently moved away and whenever I want Thai I shed a tear because the places around me will never compare.... I usually get the lunch special (coconut soup, shumai and either pad thai or pad see ew). The coconut curry is also to die for. I'm drooling just thinking about it. GO GO GO!”

“Holy Cow is a must-stop! It’s become a habit to stop by, and for good reason— the ice cream here is exceptionally good. I want to give a huge shoutout to the owner and staff for their amazing work. The customer service is hands down the friendliest I’ve experienced at any creamery.
One highlight for me is the chocolate dip. When I asked for it, I was blown away—it’s thick, rich, and truly feels like real chocolate, not just a thin syrup. This dip makes all the difference!
My favorite flavor is the wild strawberry—it’s not just regular strawberry, it’s the best version of it. They also occasionally have peach jam, which is just out of this world. I can’t get enough of it.
The shop itself has a charming, cozy atmosphere. There’s plenty of parking, a nice backyard with tables, a small bench, and even toy cars where kids can play. It’s one of my favorite places to be.”

“Villarina's is a fantastic pasta shop. Their products are fresh and delicious as they're made with outstanding ingredients. We absolutely love their ravioli and appreciate all of the different fillings such as four cheese, broccoli rab and sausage, meat, lobster etc. We've been here a number of times and we're willing to travel a bit for their products because of their quality. We've also had different types of their pastas and all were delicious! You will not be disappointed!”

Scrappy Cappy is a nice taste without being too heavy in the morning.

“South of town locale on South main Street (state route 25), the main north/south route through the Botsford section of town, this is on the Monroe side of Newtown. Gets busy on weekends and sometimes you may have to wait awhile for your fries. The food is good the fries are great.”

“I had a retirement party for a co-worker with 60+ people and ordered 1/2 a sheet cake, a gourmet cookie platter, a brownie platter and a pastry platter through the website at Caraluzzis.com. What an awesome experience! The website is so easy to use, although the cake was only available from the Bethel location, but that was not a big deal. The baked goods were delicious - my coworkers were all asking where I got them from, everyone loved them. And everything was ready for pick up right on time.”

“Just wanted to leave a glowing review for Franco's Pizza and Pasta! We ordered dinner for delivery last night and it was absolutely wonderful. Every dish was outstanding. The pasta bolognese was rich and flavorful, the chicken cacciatore was perfectly cooked, and the garlic knots were a delicious must-have. We also really enjoyed the fresh combo salad. The delivery was prompt and the food arrived hot and fresh. Franco's delivers a fantastic dining experience right to our door. It was our first time and we will definitely put them on the top of our list to order regularly. Highly recommend!”
