Such bad coffee. The guy used 2 shot portafilter to make 2 cups of coffee instead of making 2 single shots for each cup. What a load of garbage. I’ll never buy coffee from here

Came upon this place when we were in the neighborhood for the children's museum and my mother-in-law said she had a hankering for some ice cream. A lot of the reviews and some the photos here say it's a stand alone shop but the directions led us to a stand in front of a Zara and next to an Auntie Anne's pretzel stand. The stand was run by just one person who had to quite the line of folks aching for their ice cream folks. Between us four adults, we all chose different combinations of the Tiramisu, amorino, bacio, and chocolate. The gelato here is goooood - creamy, full flavor whether it be nutty, chocolate or cherry. My tot was a more of a fan of the cone than the gelato. The gelato here was not particularly pricey for Norwalk or it being gelato, as opposed to traditional ice cream. My one and only gripe was really that after the person finished serving up the line, he quickly wrapped up with a handmade BRB sign and left his post. The stand remained unmanaged and with some gelato-hungry potential customers lurking back and forth for at least 20 minutes. We eventually left and never saw the guy return to the stand after we finished our scoops. I hate to feel we really lucked out timing-wise but seemed like we did. Just hope to be as lucky the next time we are in the neighborhood and are craving a couple of scoops.

This is a gem of spot, tucked away on a back street in New Canaan that used to house a BMW motorcycle dealership. As much as we miss the moto dealership- this gelato shop is a more than acceptable replacement! The chef makes the gelato fresh every day. The flavors rotate, but they are all incredible. It tastes just like gelato in Italy- rich, flavorful and creamy. There's not much room inside, so most people stroll around outside or sit in a little adjacent park. If you want the real deal- this is your spot.

Really creamy and great customer service. The baci is my favorite flavor.

Cute little gelato stand in the SoNo Collection. Hard to pass up the free samples so I ended up getting a medium Oreo gelato. A tad pricey, but generous portions.

This little gelato stand inside of the SoNo Collection has become a family favorite! They have lots of different flavors of gelato and other frozen treats, plus they offer coffee and a small selection of other desserts like cannolis, chocolates, etc. My absolute favorite flavor of gelato there is the tiramisu, and that's a big deal, because even though I love tiramisu I am kind of a snob when it comes to tiramisu lol. Not all tiramisu flavors are the same, and even though this one is a gelato and not the actual cake/dessert, it passes my high standards for tiramisu lol! Other family favorites: mint chocolate chip, Italian cookies, and cookies and cream.

5 stars for the gelato and for the hardworking staff who scoop all day. 0 stars to the management team who lacks the sense to clearly delineate where the line starts. I patiently waited for 5 minutes, next in line after a guest who ordered for a family. I was the only other patron there at the time. As more guests started rushing the counter, I suppose I was lost in the chaos, even though I was standing by the “line starts here” placard. I walked away. Probably won’t return until they better manage the open floor in front of the counter. It’s delicious stuff, but I also value how I spend my time. No tasty gelato can make up for being an invisible patron :(

The gelato was good I got a mixture of Italian cookie, cremo, tiramisu and oreo. The staff was friendly my only compliant is they move kind of slow.

We got the gelato! I ordered half and half and SO ordered vanilla. The vanilla was OK, the flavors I got were good. I got tiramisu, Italian cookie, and some flavor with Nutella. One problem at this location is that the lines are disorganized, and it would be helpful if there was a line.

They take to much time and i Dont like how they treat me and they are not nice they got my order mixed up 2 times and the cappuccino taste like regular coffee

pricy for tiny hard crepes, they give you a knife and a fork as if you can even cut into the crepe. but it was good, shame it costs so much for such a small thing. milk shake was just milk, very liquidy if tht makes sense

Gelato! Mix of dark and regular chocolate is fantastic. Also a great selection of different flavors. It is a stop everytime I am here in the SoNo Collection Mall.
