really nice time. went at 4pm on a tuesday to check it out on a whim driving by. great space good vibes. nice beer selection, i went with the ox farm, good fresh funk. will hit the spot for a cicerone or a novice. my friend had a bloody maria with a nice homemade bloody mix. good kick. we had the shrimp skewers grilled with a nice herb pesto complimented by a great roasted corn salsa fresca with pickled pepper i think. Okay came back! This time we got the honey chicken biscuit and catfish special. The catfish was cooked perfectly and had a nice flake and crunch. It came on a bed of friend and pickle slaw. The dipping sauce was tangy. I got the honey chicken and I think I like this more than the spicy! Every item I try that is fried, is perfectly fried! Had a great experience at Jacob's Pickles in Norwalk great relaxed atmosphere, service was really smooth and quick, servers where nice, hostess checked on us periodically. Food looked good, smelled excellent my food personally was too big for me. I will be back to try some other menu options. Had a great time!!!Kid-friendliness: Saw a few happy families with kids
