really nice time. went at 4pm on a tuesday to check it out on a whim driving by. great space good vibes. nice beer selection, i went with the ox farm, good fresh funk. will hit the spot for a cicerone or a novice. my friend had a bloody maria with a nice homemade bloody mix. good kick. we had the shrimp skewers grilled with a nice herb pesto complimented by a great roasted corn salsa fresca with pickled pepper i think. Buffalo chicken mac and cheese skillet was a great dish to share and fulfilled all my cheesy desires. probably a Gruyere and cheddar blend not sure didnt ask super good. finished with a michters rye rocks bitters lemon twist. good time all around. i even like the bar stools with the lean back tilt. taisha was super friendly and professional behind the bar. looking forward to doing it again and trying some other great beers bourbons and culinary creations

Okay came back! This time we got the honey chicken biscuit and catfish special. The catfish was cooked perfectly and had a nice flake and crunch. It came on a bed of friend and pickle slaw. The dipping sauce was tangy. I got the honey chicken and I think I like this more than the spicy! Every item I try that is fried, is perfectly fried! I enjoy their pickles and asked for their chipotle Mayo to add to my chicken and biscuit but it didn't end up needing any sauce. Also I asked the waiter if the ball of bottles were real and he said they yes! Pretty epic and adds to the ambience!

First time eating at Jacob’s Pickles. Food was excellent, huge portions. Poutine was outstanding. Bacon appetizer to die for. All our meals were delicious. However, really have to make note of the service. By far THE BEST waiter - Leon was phenomenal. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable, just an all around happy demeanor that was infectious. Thank you for a great night. If you go, ask for Leon to be your server, you wont be disappointed. Will definitely go back and will ask for Leon as our waiter - we have been spoiled ?

I don't have a picture to share because I was too busy devouring the smash burger! This was well made and just delicious. The patty was moist, seasoned lightly , and although it's a smash burger it wasn't smashed to oblivion where it would be dry. Overall, loved it.

1st of all, the food is AMAZING! Never had one thing there that wasn't 5-star delicious. Jacob's pickles in NYC since it opened has always been my favorite restaurant, but this one is even better. With more space inside the restaurant, you don't feel as cramped and packed like sardines as the NYC location. And another plus is, you can actually hear the conversation. Sometimes I would get headaches from the noise at the NYC Jacob's Pickles restaurant. The food is just as good, as the original location and the service was fantastic! We had a very large group, and I was so pleased our waitress got everything correct, didn't have us waiting long, and the food was piled high!!! I ordered classic Mac n cheese and Hot Honey chicken n French toast and a root beer float. I have never had a savory french toast and it was a surprise how good it was. It was also such a great deal! I ended up having 4 meals with what I ordered! I went to the women's bathroom and was pleasantly surprised at not just how clean it was, but the fun sayings they had put on the walls in tile. All in all, this place deserved 5 stars! I can't wait to go back again!

I honestly have never been more impressed!!! It was our sons third birthday and they made it feel like he was their most important customer. I cannot recommend this establishment more!!!

I've Been during the day and the big bright and sunny windows made you feel comfortable and awoke with sunshine. And in evening can be dark and romantic. With open view to other tables. Candle lit.

Been here twice now, and it is becoming my go-to in Norwalk. The food is delicious, the portion-size exactly as you’d expect from southern comfort food, and the service and atmosphere beyond outstanding. Give this place a try.Big shoutout to Wilson, Otto, David, Anthony and Jorge who went above and beyond to make it a 5-star experience. All of them helped throughout the evening, didn’t rush us out the door even though we showed up late in the evening. All around A-team.
