“The location of this place is a bit weird and sketch. It's on a dead end with many people just hanging out on the streets in front of the stores around this place. The inside of this place is small, has groceries, and about 4 tables . I went during a lunch rush and there was a line that moved pretty fast. It was loud inside, but the place was calm, I ate in peace. I tried the oxtail and jerk chicken- both were delicious - though I didn't enjoy the slight sweetness of the dishes. I would def go back again but never alone and only during the day. I was catcalled, asked for money, and was stopped multiple times during my one visit. That's the only downside to the location of this place.“
“This gets 4/5 simply because this place is expensive in my opinion. Overpriced.. I guess it's because it's close to NY , so that makes sense in a way! Anyways the food was good except the Rasta pasta I ordered, that' damn sure isn't any Rasta pasta I've ever tasted back in NY. Other than that the music is 10/10 , the vibe is 10/10. There's always entertainment going on in there. One of my fav Jamaican spots hands down.“
“Best Jamacian Resturant in Stamford the favors so Good not to spicy ms Beverly and her staff rocks they so nice each time I go there I travel miles for their cooking my Son Torrey got me started he said mom I went to this restaurant and the food is so good so I went the same week and he was so correct he told me how nice ms Beverly and her daughter was the whole staff so it's been 2 years now and believe me it's going to be many years to come me and my Sons family and friends who we both told about Sunshine and it is always bright like sunshine when ever we go there So continue on Ms Beverly and Daughter and Staff with the Great Work and Food that you all Do Love you All from Your Very please Customers ? “This is authentic Jamaican food. I haven’t tasted Jerk chicken this good since I actually had it in Jamaica. We got there just in time, the chicken was coming right off the grill and it was mega. Cooked to perfection and the jerk sauce is superb. Great value, and great staff. Dining in, is more like dining out, but who cares….i will be back.“
