I had the jerk chicken, rice & peas, baked mac & cheese, and cabbage and it was all delicious! Chicken was very flavorful and jerk sauce on the rice & peas made my day. Def going back.Also had a homemade Mommy's Passion Lemonade drink and loved it.
The owner was absolutely the sweetest and so welcoming! Haven’t had the great of hospitality in such a long time! She lets us sample a little of everything as it was our first time. Will definitely be returning ??

This is a great choice for vegan food. Vegetables are great and there's always rice. It's like going home to eat. There is always something interesting. I can't find okra anywhere else in CT. The beef is so tender! The spices are perfect and not overwhelming. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Portions are large, I have lunch for two days. Yep, I highly recommend Mommy's.
