“Unbelievably fantastic beer and dining. They have the best grilled oysters in New England. Pair it up with Effed Up On Pilz and you will be in Heaven. They even have Effed Up On Pilz shirts that are a one of a kind. You have to check it out.“
“Found this gem in a quick search. We aren’t from the local area and chose 36 based on other reviews. Man, great food and service. Stuffed mushroom caps were amazing! Teriyaki chicken was amazing! Fried Mahi Tacos were amazing! Take all that and add Chiara, our waitress who provided great service and you get a total win!Highly recommended!“
“I took my grandmother to Irenes for the first time and it did not disappoint. Food was great, service was excellent. The restaurant itself is not a bad place. If you want a good meal at a decent price, I recommend going to Irenes. I plan on doing a food review for my YouTube channel in the future.“
“This is a great choice for vegan food. Vegetables are great and there's always rice. It's like going home to eat. There is always something interesting. I can't find okra anywhere else in CT. The beef is so tender! The spices are perfect and not overwhelming. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Portions are large, I have lunch for two days. Yep, I highly recommend Mommy's.“
“Always love the authentic food they serve with love and smiles that you taste in the food!! They have everything from appetizers (wings, Empañadas, and fries), breakfast (sandwich, pancakes, omelets),lunch (burger, grilled cheese, soup), and dinners (bistec encebollado, rice and beans, pork shoulder, platanos). Also dessert (flan, trés leche cake) and pastry (apple Danish)“
“Great beer selection. There were some I just love, and some I don't care to try again, which means something for every beer aficionado. Had a scrumptious hamburger, and a few bites of the can piled nachos. Just great food, plus the staff is friendly and competent. A lovely evening with friendly people.“
“Definitely a good atmosphere. Went on New Year's eve eve, they had karaoke and a champagne toast at midnight. I will definitely be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is accessible also a separate handicapped restroom in the ladies room.“
“The one thing that really struck me when I first started going there about six years ago was the multi racial clientele so you get to meet people from all around the world really and almost all of them are really nice. If you are there and you have a chance to meet Pete the owner one thing really likes is people coming up from behind him and just grabbing his shoulders and shaking him and telling him how great a place he has. Believe me he’ll never forget you for it. And if you’re into playing pool this is the place to be, they have one 6’ foot table and 3 9’foot tables and they’re all free to play just make sure you buy at least a beer it’s not a rule but it’s just common courtesy.“
“I have not had a cheesesteak in a long while, and I have never before stopped in despite knowing it was here for a long time now.I grabbed "The Doctor" and added mushrooms and mayo. I have to say, this was a darn good cheesesteak. Well seasoned, bread was perfect - super soft but still had chew. Pretty friggen legit!.. but I have to take a star off for the soft fries, another 30seconds to a minute and they would have been perfect. I wouldn't have minded waiting. Not really a place to sit and eat anymore. Seemed busy with orders though. I'll definitely come back to satisfy my cheesesteak craving, the sammys are definitely worth it!“
“First time eating here and it was great. I ordered the fish and chips. It was great. The tarter and slaw were great. Not everyone has good tarter or cole slaw. The spinach dip was great, too. I had never had it like that before. It had its own little twist. I am very happy and will return whenever I'm in the area.“
“The Friendly's in norwich conn. Is great. Haven't been to one since they closed them all. Found this one by chance. Good food specials for seniors and a sundae free with some meals. Good choices for all eaters. I grew up with a Friendly's when I was little, A lot for banana splits and awful awful Shakes on Friday nites. I missed them when they closed so many. I really enjoyed it and it brought back good memories.“
“Olde Times Restaurant in Norwich, CT.Lobster omelet with a side of biscuits and gravy….yes, biscuits and gravy in New England…and it was pretty good too!Nice little local place to stop and eat. Food was good and the service was quick and friendly.“
“Had a great experience at the Fat Cat Grill! Had a bus tour of 54 ladies stop in for lunch, prearranged, and Ravi and his staff were on the ball. The place was clean, the food was excellent, and the 2 waitresses worked their tail off. Every one of us enjoyed our food and our time there. They had no problem taking care of women with food sensitivities. I even heard compliments on how clean the bathroom was there. I hope he's still open next year when we come around again! Thanks Ravi!“
“Delicious food with a decent sized menu. We loved the 1/2 chicken, veggie rice and the empanadas. We finished with one of the best tasting flans I have had. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. They were will to answer any questions we had and explain the dishes.“
