The workers here are rude and inconsiderate. I had placed 5 drinks and 4 food items. And the drinks were about all the same. Nothing too hard. Only one of the drinks needs the espresso machine. As a drive thru worker myself. I would have never asked anyone to come inside if they directly used the drive thru. I understand it can be stressful but asking someone to come inside after the order was already placed is unacceptable. In general you are a drive thru worker and if the drive thru has limits then they should be posted. The man at the drive thru speaker took our whole order just to ask "Can I be a pain? Can you guys come inside it's a big order?" The atmosphere here was very unwelcoming and not pleasant at all. I will not be returning to this Starbucks, and not returning to this negative energy.

I cannot believe the service I received while ordering from my local starbucks this morning. While going through the drive through this morning with my family, we ordered 5 drinks and were inconsiderately cut off before we finished placing our food order. The man taking our order interrupted us saying "can I be a pain and ask you to come inside to place an order of this size?". We said sure and proceeded to exit the facility. The indecency this worker had to ask us to leave the drive through and go inside while there was only 2 cars in the drive through ahead of us and nobody in sight behind our vehicle. If I were to place this exact order online, they would have never given us the attitude and hostility we felt. I will never be returning to this location again I will be finding a new local Starbucks that will happily take my small order like their job description asks of them.

The tables as well as the floor are dirty & can use much needed cleaning. A bunch of staff & not a single staff is maintaining the place clean nor wiping the tables that are sticky. The staff needs training in customer service & to properly make the coffees. This is my first time coming to this Starbucks location & it will be the last.Starbucks on Main Street Norwich CT

This location needs better management. Placed a mobile order today in order to save time on the way to my daughter's basketball practice. I chose to pick up the order in store when I used the app to order.When I arrived at the Norwich location, there was a paper sign on the door that said the lobby was closed and to use the drive thru. Needless to say, there was a line wrapped around the building and onto the adjacent road for the drive thru.Spent almost $13 and had to leave without our coffees since we couldn't wait a half hour in the drive thru line.If you're closing your lobby, at least turn off the option to place a mobile order. This specific location could really use some help. Not the first issue I've had at this one.

Be more cognizant of food safety and general hygiene, please!Cliff notes: staff refused to remake drink that was handed to the car in front of me and lied to me about remaking it to try to placate me.I've been going here frequently when I feel like spending 6 bucks on a coffee, but after today I will find somewhere else to throw my money away.I ordered a coffee and was waiting in the drive thru. I noticed the guy in front of me got what looks like the same drink as me and specifically noticed it was about 80% full (I noticed because I would find this disappointing for a $6 coffee). He says something to the employee helping him and returns a minute later to swap the (my) drink with the one he actually ordered.Okay, well obviously they will make a new one because this guy had it in his car for a minute and there's no way to know if he took a sip of it because the employee left the window to get the right drink.Nope. I am handed the exact same drink that is 80% full.I asked as nicely as I could "was this the drink the guy handed back to you?"Employee said no, which was a clear lie. Exact same drink and just as (not) full. She then offered to remake it for me. I said I would really appreciate that.Not 3 seconds after closing the window, it is reopened and I am handed the same drink back in a new cup. On top of being filled to the exact same 80%, it was extremely obvious because, even if the drink didn't need to be mixed, it would have taken longer to pour from a tap than it did to "remake" the coffee. I looked at her in disgust and just threw the coffee out when I got home.I do not want to drink the same drink that a stranger may have sipped from. Once food/drink that is not sealed is passed out the window, that's it. Don't take it back unless it is going in the trash. This is food service 101.I'd wager this is not the employee's fault and is likely the result of poor training and/or being understaffed to the point where remaking a single drink for a valid reason is too much of a hassle to bother.Do better.

This Starbucks was great. Atmosphere is great, and the staff were very friendly. Their food seems to have improved over the years, so I have considered them more and more recently as a place to eat rather than just grab coffee. Learn how to use their “stars” rewards system, as you can easily rack up stars for free drinks and food!

It's a Starbucks, it's awesome. This particular location has a parking lot that is undersized so consider the drivethru.

Starbucks itself is OK but all the idiots that park out on the road instead of just finding a spot in one of the many parking lots right there kinda ruin it. They either gotta be faster or stop letting their customers block up the road

I really only go to starbucks because I can easily order on my phone and go pick it up without interacting with anyone. Almost always my order is messed up in being I order something hot and it ends up iced. There has also been multiple times Ive had to take a loss and leave due to them being super behind on orders and standing waiting a half hour for a coffee is not worth it.

The baristas are extremely rude, I don't even know how they're in the service industry! I stood at the counter without being acknowledged as the many girls behind the counter proceeded to chit chat and giggle with each other. When I asked for my drink one of the girls looked at me like I had seven heads before telling me that "oh no, we don't have that right now" then offered a half fast, and condescending apology and laughed.Meanwhile, I asked if they perhaps got the ingredient needed in their new shipment that was delivered while I was in the store and if they perhaps would know if it was in a particular box. The girl once again looked at me and said "we have all hands on deck right now and nobody is going to be handling shipment now."Once again, anyone that works in the service industry or even in any other industry should understand that giving your customer a rude and sarcastic apology just makes the situation worse and increasingly unpleasant, nobody wants that, you're better off saying nothing than saying something insincere and insolent.I hope that corporate sees this review and takes it into consideration as there are always service and quality issues at this location, and something needs to be done to prevent the disheveling of the Starbucks name.
