Here are the reasons why:It's super convenient for train goers coming home and want to grab a glass w colleagues. It's easy with kids and food options for family dinners. It's laid back for little wine/cocktail dates with friends. The prices are SO reasonable. Not only that but they give you a nice pour as well. Service is super friendly and attentive. And the food, the food is pretty junk food options BUT it actually taste fresh and good. I loved the chicken empanadas while drinking and also the mozz sticks. I will be coming here a lot especially now that we just moved to OG. Thanks social club!“

“I just stopped for lunch. Not from the area and never heard of this place. I work construction all over Connecticut. We were working right down the street. Being pressed for time I decided to stop. I ordered a burger and fries to go. Within 10 minutes I was walking out the door. Food in hand. And I have to say for the same price as a meal deal from McDonald’s I had one of if not the BEST burger ever!! This place is awesome!! I will be back!“

“The moment you walk through the door, the smell is captivating. It's lures you to the wonderful cashiers who always have a wonderful smile on their face. I never see them miserable, such inviting workers, and they know their regulars.I usually have their Sticky Bun and Chocolate Swirl. The sticky bun flavor profile is breathtaking, the bread is tender and sweet, the glaze on top is amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better pastry to start my morning. The chocolate swirl is just as good. The flaky bread and smoothness of the chocolate add a really nice feel for the pastry. I believe there is cream inside, too. If I could ask a question, I'd ask if they added cream and what kind? It's just that good!Parking: On the side of the building I believe there is parking as well in front of the store.“

“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

“Many tend to flock to the village of Bayville for its restaurants and bars on the water and beautiful sunsets. Let me give you a proper suggestion: eat here, have a drink or two and then enjoy another drink and the sound view elsewhere. The diversity of the menu and the quality of the food with its unique taste cannot be beat by any place in this town by far. The drinks are great as well. Despite its location away from the water, it is typically packed especially on weekends so have patience when visiting. From my own observation it seems to be mostly local regular customers, who probably have a laugh at those visiting the ‘tourist’ spots for dinner expecting a great meal. As someone who has visited this town often and tried much of what there is to offer, this is what I would call Bayville’s best - grandma’s cooking, if you will. Give them a try.“

Dinner was salmon, lamb and paella Palomino, which is my husband's favorite. Lovely service. Dessert was the flourless chocolate cake. Cant wait to return!!“

“While in Stamford, a friend and I felt like having Indian food for lunch and found this gem. The food was spot on and presented nicely. The waiter was very gracious, patient, very pleasant and answered all of our many questions, describing things well.My friend ordered Lamb Kadhai Methiwala (onions, bell peppers and fresh fenugreek.) I ordered Lamb Korma (creamy cashew sauce.) We shared and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The lamb in each was tender. It was nice to share as one was rich and the other less rich with more heat. Both were balanced perfectly with spices. Each lunch plate came out Bento style with a goodie in each section - basmati rice (of course,) Aloo Tikki, a scrumptious vegetable of the day (which was potato with what I believe was tindora a.k.a. Ivy Gourd) and naan. Everything was so delicious that at the time I didn't even think to ask for the various chutneys. My friend and I agreed - we liked this restaurant very much and would definitely come back. Another positive is that it's priced very fairly. We wished we asked the waiter for his name so we could list it here and thank him for his service.“

“Had a lovely breakfast this morning. Had the egg white, spinach, feta n tomato wrap. It was beautifully prepared as was everyone else's meal. Service was on point from Heidi and she was a breath of fresh air. This restaurant has been around for so many years and I'm happy to report it gets better with age. BTW the owner is a delight and greets you with a genuine smile. Will definitely be back.“

“This was one of the most delicious Indian foods I've tried for a long time. The Chicken Saag was made with fresh spinach, and it was so tasty. The Chicken Tikka was served with sauce on the side, the chicken was very well marinated and also one of our favorite dishes. We will definitely be back.“

“This is the place to go if you want the best traditional french food in the area. We had five different entrees and including two appetizers which all were fantastic. I have been there quite a few times and never have been disappointed.“

“I went there with some friends on a Friday night. We ordered some drinks and some small plates to start. I wanted Paella, and they said it would be 30 minutes to get that. The various small plates were delicious, especially the beef. The paella was okay. I opted for the seafood version. And I don't think I would get that again. It just wasn't that flavorfull. But all in all we all had a good time and the service was fantastic!“

The pizza is fantastic! Cooked just right, with the proper ratio of cheese and sauce, and a nice thin crust, it's one of my top choices for pizza in Stamford, it's terrific!“

“Attractive Moraccan restaurant. Food interesting and well-prepared. Attractive, tasty "Argana Flavors" appetizer. Servers were well-meaning but somewhat disorganized (for instance, they took our drink and food orders on their tablets but the drink order never made it to, or was ignored by the owner who doubled as the bartender; I had to tell him we'd placed our drink orders as he was walking around the tables, he then asked me what we wanted. As I said, disorganized.) I'll still return for dinner, though.“

“I attended Chef Prasad's chef collaboration with Tyler Anderson last night and it was nothing short of spectacular. Admittedly not all that familiar with Indian food, it all tasted delicious and it was much more than that. Place is super cozy, drinks are great and 5 star experience all the way around!!! He does these chef collaborations once a month, but visit for a regular meal or takeout as it is well worth it. -Nick D“

I am SO happy to see that they are doing great . They have expanded their restaurant to the space next door. Both times, awesome service, delicious appetizers and cocktails. We ordered 3 different shared appetizers, then 4 different main course options and shared. Everything was fresh and delicious. “I highly recommend this sushi restaurant in Stamford. I’ve been coming to this place for +10 years and I’ve tried most sushi restaurants in Stamford. Every time I bring someone new to the restaurant they become fans and visit often.I typically order sashimi and speciality rolls. I only trust this place for raw fish. The sakura roll is my favorite.You won’t be disappointed!“

“Kelly’s has the perfect formula for a hometown local bar. The staff and patrons welcome everybody. No matter how packed it is. The Basar always serves everyone within five minutes. “We were running late and when we call they accommodated us. It’s a nice chill diverse spot. I love Norwalk!. Hubby is a chef so I am always looking for a place to impress. This place did it. It’s a decent spot for just about any event. Get the wings, get the burger, get the drinks. My hubby said the linguini and clams were decent. The bread is fresh and delicious.
