“Cloud Nine Catering catered our wedding at The Lace Factory on July 13, 2023. Let's put it this way... if I could eat their food everyday, I would. Their appetizers, main courses, and cake/cupcakes/cannolis were to die for. My guests are still talking about how amazing the food was weeks after our wedding. If you're looking for food that doesn't have that typical taste or look that it was made in bulk... go here! Nothing is worse when you're at an event and it tastes like "banquet hall food". How many people actually say they're excited to eat their leftovers after their wedding?!Also, when we attended our tasting prior to the wedding, the experience they provided was above and beyond. It was so intimate and special and we truly felt valued and heard. The chefs, staff, and overall quality is top notch. My post wedding blues are mainly because I already miss the Cloud Nine staff, especially Christine! Don't judge until you've worked with them!!Christine Dickerson truly goes above and beyond in all aspects of her job. She has an answer for every question (even the silly ones) and she responds to emails within the same day, if not within a couple hours. Her expertise made wedding planning a breeze and her calming presence helped immensely at my wedding. I feel fortunate to have had her a part of my wedding day, and planning experience.Highly HIGHLY recommend!!“
“The coffee/espresso is really good and they have lots of cool options. I got the Aztec coffee which she explained to me was hot cocoa coffee and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the s’mores coffee and was also a big fan. They also have some awesome soda options and a cute atmosphere. The one downside is it’s a little on the expensive end, but worth a try for sure!“
“Such a cute and cozy spot in downtown Old Saybrook! When you walk in, there's a whole case of various pastries, and it looks like they have several gluten free options as well! I ordered a pumpkin spice latte that was to die for!! Sort of on the sweeter side of things- but I didn't mind. We ordered a tuna melt that came with a side of carrot sticks, and an avocado BLT special that came with a side of hash browns. Everything came out great! Definitely recommend a stop if you're in the area.“

We got a couple of snacks as well, lemon bar, apple crumble bar, and the house made seasoned flour tortilla chips.Baked goods were not too sweet and highlighted the flavors and was very well rounded.Will definitely visit again.“

“Nestled across the street from a venerable shoreline favorite, the Turtle Cafe is another absolute gem. Chef Ricky and Mariah, who was at the counter, were extremely welcoming and make for great conversation. The menu is vast and all of the food was amazing. I had eggs Benny with a side of hash, I highly recommend this place.“

“My wife and I headed to Old Saybrook for Sunday breakfast. There are many options in the center, and this little place caught our eye - so we gave it a whirl, and we were not disappointed! The Nutty Joe Coffee ☕ is off the chain stupid delicious ?; we could drink cup after cup after cup... and still want another cup! I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel w hot sauce - spot on. My wife had perfectly poached eggs and a delicious banana muffin... no complaints. The gentleman working the grill was fantastic, and sitting outside was just the topper to our wonderful experience. If you haven't been, get there; you will not be disappointed.“
