“I have been here 5 times now both pick up and sit down. The food has been amazing and the atmosphere is great. The inside is very very clean. I do not like writing negative reviews however the service in person is great but over the phone 1 star would be to much. Both times i ordered over the phone it was very very rushed and I could hardly get a question in. This most recent time the phone call was so rushed and with the language barrier we misunderstood each other. I know that can happen and it is what it is. When i showed up i noticed my order had additional items that i did not ask for. When I told the gentleman i did not ask for them I got the worst attitude and he got so mad. When i said I'm not sure what happened but sorry he snapped at me saying I should have listened better. Normally I would have said whatever and taken the additional items if they are small however it was 3 more things of ramen. I still tipped 20% because maybe he was having a bad day and not tipping is just rude. When he came back after he removed the other items my food was basically thrown at me. I didn't check it and when i got home one of the lids was off and half of the broth leaked out. I was really enjoying a ramen place being so close and i was sending all my friends there. However reguardless of how good their dumplings are i may just drive the extra 20 minutes somewhere else.”

“Absolutely love this place! Been going frequently for a while and then we had them cater at work for an Open House Event and it was a smashing hit! Everyone loved the pies, meatballs and wings! Love this place and management is very wonderful especially with how large and hectic our order was for work! Can't thank this team enough!”

“I ordered a meatball pizza for take out after a 12 hour snowstorm of plowing in the snow equipment and was feeling pretty hungry for a late dinner. I live in the area and have been wanting to try oxford pizza palace, it seemed to be greek style pizza. I ordered a large 16inch or so meatball pizza. I usually prefer my meatball toppings flat sliced homestyle cooked meatballs, these were more small chunks but otherwise good still and fresh tasting. The cheese and sauce kind of had a different taste I couldn't completely put together i guess, idk i was hungry and i could crush the whole large pizza in probably one sitting if i tried too haha They offer an 18inch xl pizza size as well and i think next time im gunna order an xl pizza maybe a different topping to try how they make other pizzas and what the toppings taste like. I enjoyed the pizza overall and will return again.”

“I walked into this establishment and was blown away by the wide variety of shakes and teas to choose from. The staff was very friendly, and actually helped me to finally make a decision on what shake and tea to choose. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to get some protein shakes and teas to help keep your body and mind in shape.”

“Have been to Oxford House Tavern a number of times since moving to Oxford in 2017 and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, selection of menu items and the drinks. The bartenders and wait staff have always been extremely friendly and inviting. The rib special is my favorite!”

“Lynn did an amazing job with our wedding cake! It was absolutely stunning, and she managed to make it even better than the inspo pic we provided. She also added all the accents and colors that we asked for and it went perfectly with the rest of our wedding decor. It was delicious as well and guests were going back for seconds! We chose the almond cake with strawberry champagne frosting. Lynn is also so sweet and easy to work with. She's a such a talented artist and baker. Highly recommend!!!”

“I recently attended a private party there. The staff was extremely accommodating to my gluten intolerance issues and made me a separate gluten free meal which was very tasty and included gluten free bread and ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend them.”

“Had a great lunch at Sitting Duck Tavern today. The decor is dark but interesting. Our server was fantastic. I had fish and chips and a peach Sangria. Yes, they do have malt vinegar! Great beer batter, lots of fries, good slaw. The serving size was very generous and I took about half of it home. Hubby had a beer and the chicken sandwich, he ate every bite. They serve local craft beers.”

“the people who work here are so friendly and their service goes above and beyond! they are helpful and let me make substitutes in my salad because of dietary needs. the salads are good and they don’t skimp on toppings! food is quite expensive, but that’s just how it goes in this economy.”
