“Looking for a truly enjoyable dining experience? Visit Housatonic House! The warm, welcoming atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food make this place one of my favorites. Having eaten here a handful of times, I can tell you that their food is fresh and delicious. The burgers, salads, entrees and daily specials are fantastic. The servers are very attentive and pleasant (shout out to Ris, who always goes above and beyond!), and the owner, Mike, goes out of his way to walk around and check in on the customers. “My friend and I went on a quiet sunday afternoon. We walk in and are greeted immediately. The waiter who also seems to be the cook and owner was so very nice. I was surprised to see the amount of vegan options at such a tiny place. The owner answered all of my questions without grunting or groaning. I had a vegan chicken deli club with vegan bacon. It was sooooo good!! I recommend this place!!“

“This is an amazing restaurant! I had the Sammy Salmon and the food was amazing. Super fresh and seasoned to perfection. The kids meals are also a great portion for kids, my daughter is 8 and wasn’t able to finish her plate. For dessert we had the Tres Leches Cake and it did not disappoint, super moist and just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend for the entire family!“

“I've been here twice and both times I've had a great experience. The drinks, service, and food all great. I've only had food on Grand Street but I've been told that the other location buffet is also great. The menu has many options a bit on the pricy side but there were some reasonable options for lunch. The food came out quick. It took a min for the drinks especially for around 1pm with not too many customers. Great place to sit and conversation with friends and coworkers. Would recommend.“

“My friend & I were in the area and stopped in for the first time. The staff were super friendly & attentive. We were able to be cozy on the couches and ordered wine flights - loved the variety! The cheese box was also so good to pair with the flights. We were full on wine & cheese. Such a cozy vibe for local drinks & a wine down. Will definitely be returning!“

“I drive a considerable distance just to come visit Bobbi the bartender. She’s the best around! Funny, fast, excellent. It’s also hard to find such a welcoming fun crowd and cheap drinks anywhere else. The new owners are regularly around and you won’t have to look hard because they’ll greet you with a smile. Great guys. Can’t say enough great things about this great place. Only thing that would make it better is if they had a karaoke night!!!!“

“Really enjoyed this brewery. We went mid afternoon after a hike, very casual. They had a solo musician who was enjoyable to set a chill vibe. There is a big sculpture of a sycamore tree that was very cool. Stopped for an easy beer and late lunch. The Bavarian style pretzel was hot and perfect salt. Shared some wings. Will return“

“I was passing through and stopped to try some of the food. The place was packed with orders. Although there wasn’t a ton of guests eating there I saw them working hard with many to-go orders. Our food took probably 20 min which wasn’t bad. It was very tasty and I loved the Salsa Bar!!! What a great idea and allowed the opportunity to try so many flavors! My only comment would be to lighten up on the cilantro. There was an extreme amount of cilantro on my tacos. One taco has enough cilantro for like 5 tacos worth. I would definitely go back and try more items. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Oh, and the Jamaica juice was ?? perfection“

“As I've said many times. I love a Hole in the Wall spot. Bailey's Cafe might take the Cake.If you are near or far definitely stop in for lunch! I indulged in a savory Chipotle Bacon ? Ranch Burger made to order, fresh thick sliced vegetables with steak fries. The Bourbon Wings made me Regret only ordering 6 should've taken 12 more home ???. Sweet potato fries for the win crispy to the order, fresh coleslaw..... The Bill came to $37 something I tipped $15. Compliments to the Chef. If you are reading this go get the Bourbon wings ??????Picture below disregard my hand I was getting ready to devour that burger ?Parking: Parking all over. The Bar holds 87 at maximum capacity.“
