“This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection.Their made in house soups, beet chic pea burgers, grain bowls, burgers, Plainville chicken sandwich, onion rings, fresh cut fries are all fantastic! The restaurant is always clean and the people are super friendly.”

“I had a Vanilla bubble tea and my wife had a strawberry tea and they were delicious. We also had the pork and beef dumplings. This place is a hidden gem.”

“This is the best sushi I've had in CT. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was really nice. The menu has great options for a good price. The service was amazing, and the owners were lovely. I couldn't finish everything so the owner packed it up with some extra wasabi, ginger, and chopsticks like we were getting takeout. We're already talking about going back with family.”

“I can't believe I'm just trying your food for the first time today.. everything is beyond delicious!! Grilled falafel platter, grilled veggies and chickpea salad, all fresh bright veggies, and ALL the flavors! Oh and the Greek coffee frappe so good:) I ordered delivery through Toast/Doordash but will definitely be stopping in with friends and family soon.”

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! Thank you again to the owners and to our waitress who went above and beyond for making our day so perfect! We can’t wait to come back! Kim Landeen”

“just came here for the first time and it was absolutely fantastic. i got the pancakes deluxe with eggs and bacon, and my boyfriend got the eggs mulligan. food was amazing the service was even better. the servers were extremely nice and the atmosphere is awesome, right next to the train tracks! we will be back!”

“Great local brewery. So much to do here. They have some arcade games, pinball and skeeball. Plenty of room to sit and relax. Not too loud. Bathroom was clean. Beer was good, they also have NAs and other options than just beer.”

The pictures speak for themselves but if your cake isf illed with mold that could be solved with a simple friged repair. Then I don't want to know what your kitchen is like. I will contact my bank and the evidence is evident as shown in this review.”

“I stopped ordering from village years ago because of the old owners. When I found out they were under new management I tried them and was very pleased with the pizza. I also have ordered a burger to go and the bun was not soggy and it was great!”

“I met these cookies at the Plainville Balloon Festival. The experience from start to finish was comforting, fun, safe, and delicious! I have been gluten free and dairy free for over 10yrs and LOVE finding small businesses that hold space for that! Simple ingredients for a healthier treat that tastes better than most of the chemical crap out there. To spice up my review, my sister went into labor one night and ended up needing a C-section. I was bringing dinner to the hospital at a late hour. Being a HUGE dessert family, I called every bakery around to find a dairy free gluten free dessert bc I did not have time to make any and knew my sister would love a treat but was having no luck. I remembered Scoops gave them a ring and no answer. I decided to call again bc my number is out of state lol and prayed to God they answered. They did! They were just finishing up an event in Hartford. I explained the situation to them and they hand delivered a box of cookies to the hospital in Bristol for me with a huge smile on. It made me feel so good to know that they took joy in the delivery. What an amazing deed that made an entire family so happy. Eating healthy cookies while taking turns holding the new baby! Super grateful, would definitely recommend!!! Love y’all!”

“We enjoy visiting Praline’s as a family. The people are nice, the ice cream is delicious! It’s fun to visit the outdoor ordering window and sit at the tables onsite outside on warm summer nights. Haven’t been inside yet, but that’s an option too.”

“I recently visited Subway in Plainville, and overall it was a good experience. The food was fresh and tasted great, and my order was made just the way I wanted.

Before I ordered, there was a situation where another customer was arguing with one of the employees, which made things a bit uncomfortable. However, the staff handled it professionally and continued serving customers as best as they could.

Despite that moment, my visit was positive. The service was efficient, and the sandwich quality was good. I would still come back again.”

“I was wanting a steak and cheese, and we were driving around the area, lo and behold, it says steak sandwich on the sign. The sandwich hit the spot. You had to order peppers extra, but the steak cheese and onion was really good. It wasn’t dry, tasted delicious, the service was good, so I ordered one to go with peppers this time.

I don’t think they do their own onion rings (I’d pass on those next time) and otherwise other peoples pizzas looked and smelled good. Coffee was standard fare.

“The guy who I believe was the owner was the kindest and friendliest employee I have ever encountered. After running in right on the dot at 9:30 he kindly let us get our yogurts and made conversation while they were clearly closed. The yogurt was amazing and fresh as always and we will be life long customers. Super sad they don’t have a location near our school.”

“I moved to the area about 3 years ago ave I have yet to find a good Chinese spot, I tried chengs kitchen in downtown New Britain, and never went back because it was that bad, my son came home with general Tso’s yesterday and he let me try a bite, it was so good, we ordered again for dinner tonight, The crab Rangoon were really good and decent sized, and we both got general tso’s dinners, everything was hot and tasted fresh, Definitely will be coming back, thank you for a great first experience 😊”

The pastries were outstanding—fresh, beautifully made, and so delicious that it was hard to choose a favorite. Every bite tasted like it was made with genuine care and tradition. What impressed us just as much as the food was the exceptional customer service. Everyone was warm, friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming, which made our visit feel personal and special. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are this exceptional. We left with big smiles, plenty of delicious memories and we can’t wait to come back!”
