First and Last Tavern of Plainville was a pleasure to work with for my daughter's surprise 22nd birthday dinner party. Everything was absolutely seamless from the initial meeting, choosing menu options, setting up the private dining room to the dinner service on the night of the party. I found the management and wait staff to be friendly and helpful throughout the process. All of the 19 guests were pleased with both the appetizers and main course. The service provided by Kayla was excellent though she was on duty as the main bartender for the evening as well. If you're looking for an intimately sized private dining room for your next event, consider First & Last Tavern.

Food was perfecto- dine in experience ruined by some jackass wearing a baby blue button down walking around like he owned the joint. Servers were good aswell made sure I had everything it just felt off with that guy walking around I hope he isn’t there often!

Came w my mom for dinner we where pleasantly surprised w all the mixed reviews, Our server Michelle was smiling, attentive, & had all great suggestions when we asked what was best. Seemed like she really cared if we liked what she suggested because she asked when we received our food. Nice quality in a server.Every single thing we got was delicious, Salad was great, dressing is delicious, eggplant parm, meatballs & the sauce!!! Yum & the CLAM PIZZA WAS THE BEST CLAM PIZZA I EVER EVER HAD!!! Take notes new haven!! I can't wait to come back here & get everything we got again ???
We couldn't have been happier with our event and First and Last Tavern. I just recently hosted an 80th birthday party for my mother. She was thrilled with her party, and so was I. Everything went smoothly and all of my guests commented on what a lovely event it was, how nice the room was and how plentiful and delicious the food was. Our server communicated well with us during the event and was very attentive to our guests. The space was absolutely lovely, and just perfect for our group. Thank you!

We hosted an 80th birthday party with about 25 people in the private room. The food was average (we did a buffet with pasta, meatballs, salad etc.). The price at the end of the event was completely insane. It was over $1000 for this small, lowkey event. The service was awful. It was very clear that the waitress did not want to be there. She rarely came back to check on us.
