This is my family’s new favorite Italian restaurant! We don’t live in Ridgefield but whether it’s dine in or take out, Venice is always worth the drive. Their Sicilian pizza is the best in CT!! I would also recommend trying their grilled NY strip steak, fried calamari or the stuffed mushrooms which are all delicious. My wife is obsessed with their hot antipasto which I don’t blame her. So if you’re looking for a good spot to eat, check them out. You won’t regret it!

Customer service here is awful when asked to put onion and peppers on the slice I’m told three time that it’s not going to be cooked all the way and when I confirm I know that they tell me they can’t do it. Not sure why. When I tried ordering four slices with toppings over the phone I’m told they can’t do that I’d have to come in. Very obnoxious for mediocre pizza

I wish the pizza area for slices was bigger. It's great to eat outside when the weather is nice. I love the pepperoni and plain slices. I haven't eaten in the restaurznt side yet but I have taken some dishes home and they were good.

We went there for lunch at the request of my mother in law. I did not have high hopes. I was so wrong! We had the calamari on the specials menu which had just the right amount of heat. They also put peppers, garlic, crushed tomatoes and beans in the sauce which I've never seen before, but boy, was it good?! I decided on the bolognese pizza because I had never seen that done before. The menu said it had peas on it, and then in parentheses, it said the peas were optional. I assumed it would come with the peas, but I guess you had to specify, because they didn't put them on. That was disappointing because I was really looking forward to peas on a pizza! But it was still so good! They used the bolognese sauce in place of the regular pizza sauce. The pizza was firm, not burnt, the cheese was thick and stringy. Best pizza I have had in a long time! My husband got the stuffed shrimp, which he loved. The portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. My pizza was a small and it was at least 12 inches but likely 14, which most places are now calling a medium pie, so the price was cheap for what you got. The only bad thing is that the place is too far from us to become regulars!

Last night after working late we decided to eat dinner out. We decided once again to go to Venice The reason.... It's very relaxed, excellent service, a great menu. The $49 special dinner for 2 has to be the best deal anywhere. It even includes a bottle of wine (medium quality) Lots of selections for everyone .Portions are generous quality of food is very good. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your dinner this is a must go to place.
